Likes

A lot of extracurricular activities are available for the students.
Hostel food is very good and variety available there.
Campus placement is very good more than 80 percent students got placed

Dislikes

A lot of pressure on students so they don't have free time.
As this college situated in south India we have to face some difficulties.
Always more preference given to 9 pointers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do B.Tech since childhood and I am interested in math and computer so I chose this course. This is the best curriculum to get prepared for face real world application. Although a good curriculum but needs more practical classes for improvement of students. Semester exam is in every 3 months and exam is moderate.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 173000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year onwards. Many companies visited like Microsoft, Samsung, Amazon, Paypal, Myntra, Udaan and many more. More then 900 offers made to the students. Last year highest package is 75 lpa and average package is around 6-7 lpa. Around 80 percent of students get placed. My plan after the degree is masters and then job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this course is 1.95 lakhs per annum which is quite good for this college. The total fees including all the expenses is around 20 lakhs. No such scholarships available for students but if you are a 9 pointer then you will get a attendance relaxation. Many clubs and groups are there which you can avail.

Campus Life

There is a cultural and sports fest occur in our college name Riviera which is including all the fun and laughter. Library is one of the best thing about the college because you can found almost each and every book there. Smart classes are there including smart board. Many extracurricular activities available here but you have manage your time accordingly.

Admission

The eligibility of this course is 65+ marks in 10+2. I found the application form in the college website. The exam occurs twice a year and you have select your nearest city for the exam. And exam level is quite hard. Admission process is quite good but need to be occur in more cities for easy transport of students.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
