Course Curriculum Overview

manipal is among a few colleges to provide aeronatical engineering and it is among the best in private institutions. the course is well designed and real world applications are visible through on site internships

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

placements are eligible from 7th semester and a lot of companies such as big 4, jp morgan boeing etc make offers. package size varies from 800000 to 5500000 per annum. as many as 75-80 percent people get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

the tution fee is fixed for 4 years and covers only tuition fee. hostels and other utilities are to be purchased separately. top 100 MET ranks get 100% scholarship. there are no campus recruitment but clubs and student projects.

Campus Life

manipal have the most happening student life with fests going all around the year in different colleges. MIT have both technical and cultural fests. library is one of its kinds and projector and class recordings are available in classrooms

Hostel Facilities

1st year is first come first serve in terms of hostels and after that hostels are categorised as merit based. meals in mess are served 4 times a day and quality is decent with variety. reguistration process is easy but site lags and affordability is decent.

Hostel Fee: INR 164000 per year

Admission

you need to clear MET which is manipal entrance test and branches have individual citoffs. application can be done online on manipal official site. it happens twice for every batch and difficulty is jee level.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
