What Students Say

Likes

The faculty are great. Some of them are quite good. Learning is Fun with them
The campus and social life is amazing....
Students can get a lot of opportunities. There are various events from every fields.

Dislikes

The timings are a bit harsh. Almost more than half of day is used up by clg
According to the money I feel that amenities lack a bit
The course structure can also be better.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The exams are not much difficult. There was no motivation for admission due to curriculum I find it quite regular but being an autonomous clg I chose that one.. The timings are not great I mean duration can be reduced. 2 lec and a practical is enough I think

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Again there is not much info about that. But the companies which I have seen are Infosys,TCS,Amazon, Google, some startups. The average CTC is 7lkh. This year's max placement is 51 lakh by an mtech student in Google

Placement Experience

To be honest I don't have much info about placement. 6 months internship is needed foru course Clg gives leave for 2 months after every year 4th year can be used for internship Clg also provides internship and one can also apply frm outside

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be provided in fy according to ur result scores. After that the course toppers will be awarded some concession in fees later. I don't have much info about clg placement and internship but according to the advertisement this year an mtech cse student got into Google with 51 lpa package

Campus Life

The best thing about mit is campus life I think. There are many clubs and events Every week there is some event and there is many opportunities for students to have fun.. The library is very good now after the renewal. There is much more seating place and many useful books

Admission

Admission is through cet,jee and also through clg exam. After the result u need to fill the online form and select desired course. The result of form according to those year application cut off is decided and your result is mailed to u for admission

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

MIT-WPU: Nurturing Talent and Innovation

During my research for chosing my college I got to know MIT WPU is better in many ways from the other college i was getting addmision in . First, The fees of MIT WPU were less compare to KJ Somaya Mumbai , Second I got to know from seniors that MIT has well qualified faculty members and also its very diciplined college , Third The Placements of MIT WPU were having a good record than other colleges . Yes I got rejected in many colleges The main reason behind them was my percentile . I got 91 percentile in my MHTCET and the colleges i filled form were closing at 97-98 percentile . So i was not able to make into them The Admmision process of MIT WPU is quite simple . You have to fill the form from there official website there they ask each and every detail like your percentile in different exams and all . Then if you fit in there criteria you get a official mail that you have been selected for the specific course . Mit takes admission on basis of MHTCET , JEE , PARA-CET,Board Exam ,CUET.There is another method for joining in mit wpu that is giving the cet of mit , it just after the cet if you get selected there is an additional Personal interview round whoch you have to clear...Read More

I choose MIT WPU over other colleges because of the knowledge which i would gain here. The placemnet here is quite good. I have got a lot of experience here. The training sessions here are quite nice which re not in other colleges. Also there is lot of oppurtunites for students here. Some colleges such as RVCE and DSCE in bangalore have rejected me because i couldn't clear their cutoff Admission in my college is on the basis of JEE results and MHT-CET results. The college is not mentioned in CET cap rounds as the students have to apple separately for the college through its website.
