- The campus is not that big but is not that small that someone cant enjoy there
- There are no holidays on Saturday and that leads to the very tired situation
- For a university you have to wear a uniform which is not good for college students and no likes to wear a uniform for collage
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about the curriculum?It was very good and I got to know about various subjects. And The faculty are very helpful and they have a great teaching experience. The curriculum was totally based on problem solving which is required in the corporate world. Not every teacher is perfect but few of them require to change their teaching methods but most of them were experienced and good. There are two exams In a is midterm second one is end term exam In between those exams Teacher also give us internal exams
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies which provide internships in various rolls , and theri stipend can be 0rs to 1lakh . The internships roles iON Remote Internships (cloud computing, data science, artificial intelligence, and software development) Research Internship (research in any area of computer science) Digital Marketing Internship (social media marketing, search engine optimisation, and content marketing) Financial Services Internship (investment banking, asset management, and risk management)
Placement Experience
After 5th semester students become eligibility to get placement and mostly students get internship after 5 semester. I don't know about the exect data but this year a number of companies visited our college and took some students from campus. Highest package is around 40lakhs and average around 10 lakhs. I dont know about the % of students getting placed but on an average every year 60-70% students get placed. I will go for higher education and will do masters in this field only .
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no increase in fees as such. But it is mentioned earlier that every year student have to give certain amount of fees. The complete cost of my education would be around eight lakh. And mostly everything is included in it. There are many scholarship such as scholarship for the Hilly region students, Army brats, girl child, jee mains or twelve exam percentage.
Campus Life
There are many seminars and fests in GEHU including cultural fests and grafest along with may social works such as plantation drive , cleanliness drive , etc Apart from curriculum there are many books for ones interest in library of GEHU. Yes there are many technological labs such as IOT lab, Mac lab , computer labs with latest i9 processer . Campus provide various opportunity for students who want to pursue sports as their future by organising different types of tournaments such as, arm wrestling, cricket , chess, football, volleyball, carrom, etc. NSS volunteers club is a club run by students and iam personally a member of that club .
Admission
So talking about admission, They are quite simple. And they took it me on the basis of 12 as I got 93%. I got scholarship according to my percentage. And the admission Procedure was quite was very each and every person. Talking about the eligibility. Everyone who I have sbored above 60% in 12 examinations can Do B.Tech CSE in Graphic Era Hill University
