Remarks

It is one of the best Engg. college located in the heart of city. One thing is for sure, you will enjoy engg and your college life. After passing out, an individual is capable of doing wonders.

Entrance Preview

I took MH-CET exam scored 175 and secured admission at the last moment. There were various reasons for choosing this college. The main was it's package and close proximity from my residential place.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was admitted in to EXTC branch which was one of the most renowned during my times because it was adorned by placements package. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University so it follows Mumbai university curriculum. Each subjects are extensively taught by teacher.

Internships Opportunities

4

There was no help from the college for any internships like having any special placements, but was always helpful in procuring important documents which are mandatory for internship. There were hardly 9-10 students among 100 who worked as a intern.

Placement Experience

4.5

The final placements and job opportunities are humongous. The TPO works very hard day in and out to bring the top cream companies to the campus and has a huge network in the industry. A student passing out from this college doesn't have to worry about a job unless his academics are very shoddy.

College Events

4.5

I was an introvert and never took part in any of these events but had heard from lot of people that the cultural and technical fest were worth attending. They had performs of AIB, Honey Singh and other famous DJ's. The best day of the college would be "The Traditional day". Despite having paucity of space, the whole college would dance to the beats of dhol which could be heard to around 500m.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Considering the college infrastructure, the fees structure was expensive. Nevertheless all is compensated when you get extra marks in your internals and 3rd year. The classroom are a bit old but still feasible to study in. Fees during 2014 was approx. 90k/ annum

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lot of scholarships offered from the college. Constant updates are being circulated among students. The college is also very helpful in loan schemes, though i haven't avail any.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is the most happening one. With gender ration being close to unity, there is no discrimination based on race, caste and sex. In fact sometimes girls outnumber boys is certain events. There are various competitions like debate, etc. and importance and chance is given to everyone. Sometimes college gets forwards and organizes special lecture of Industrialist.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college doesn't provide any hostel facility for engineers as per my knowledge. The canteens are reasonable and serve some tasty foods with quick delivery.

Alumni/Alumna

Not so sure about the alumni network but the seniors are very helpful. Right from giving their view on each teacher to helping us with passwords of free WIFI. They make us ready and teaches us how to behave with every teacher to earn those extra marks in internal exams.

Exam Structure

The internal exam structure was quite chilled out. Usually one paper each day with no extra pressure on the students. For university exams the schedule was fixed by the university itself. The exams dates were announced well in advance and internal vivas w

Faculty

4

Right from the HOD to the practical teachers, everyone was very helpful. A part from the course knowledge, practical knowledge was also a paramount in their list of teaching skills. Innovations was thoroughly encouraged by all.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
