I liked the campus life. Students here are very friendly.

I disliked the time table of our college. it is very hectic some days. From morning 8:30 to evening 4:20.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen CSE because i have interest in AI, upcoming technologies etc. College helps me a lot in my areas as they are organising many tech events as hackathon and many more in which i participate and increase my interest and knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities which our college is giving. we should seek opportunities from various options available. They are providing paid internships also. I dont know much about the projects as i am in the first year and i have not joined any internship programs.

Placement Experience

from 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies like IBM, TOYOTA, LENOVO, HP, ACCENTURE, etc. visits our college for placements. As of now 100 percent students gets placed with a decent packages. Highest salary as per now id INR 50 lakh and median salary offered is 5.5 lakhs. My plans after getting a degree is to get a good job in any good tech company with a decent package upto 10 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now there is no hike in the fees. I have got the fee reciept of 4 years and all are same. My tutuion fees for 4 years is 20,80,000 including all charges. I am in the first year so i dont know much about employement but the college is giving decent internship opportunities which we can grab.

Campus Life

Our college organises many technical events for student based on coding, teachnologies, etc. The biggest coding event held is Hackathon. Every Classroom has a projector which helps students and teacher a lot. Our college organises various sport events like Cricket, throwball, football for both girls and boys. There is a very big cricket tournament held every year that is RCL(Reva Cricket League) in which various teams compete.

Admission

Admission process was smooth. I have taken direct admission through management seat. I visited the college by own and saw the college, asked the students about the placements. There were many teachers for helping to choose the subjects and many more if you are facing any difficulties. They should make a booklet for the management fees as I was not aware of it fully unless i visited there.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
