Course Curriculum Overview

The exam structure is as per Anna University engineering exam pattern. The course curriculum was relevant to the industry. It was very helpful for my professional career. Based on the requisites for the industry, our college prefers a good elective subject for students.

Placement Experience

Placement was very good. Many leading companies are invited and an effective training program is provided for students to face interviews. I got placed in 2 MNC's.

College Events

Students take their responsibility in hosting their department Symposium of our college. This is a national level technical event conducted by our college. There is also a technical seminar hosted by each department in order to provide valuable insights to the students on recent trends happening at the industry.

I didn't apply for scholarship But in case if you are applicable then College will guide you in getting some loan.

Campus Life

Technical seminars are conducted on each department according to the recent trends happening in the industry. There is also an event called E-Cube where students are expected to present a technical paper for each year on their respective departments.

Hostel Facilities

They is a boys hostel in this college but no girl's hostel. The hostel is inside the college which avoids the unnecessary travel. The mess fees is way cheap when compared to other colleges in the city. The hostel is safe and secured. People can take from commercial hostel rent for girls.

Alumni network is very helpful in connecting with our fellow mates. This helps to have a good connection with our college even after the completion of my degree.

Admission

I got the admission in this college through Anna University counseling (June 05, 2012)based on my standard-12 marks. Mostly the admission for this college gets completed before the first week of the counseling. So good marks in high school board exams are needed.

Faculty

The faculty was very good and they were updated in recent trends on their respective fields. They used to motivate students and help them whenever they are struggling for learning the concepts. They also used to conduct peer coaching by which students help their fellow mates.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
