Likes
- The college has good buildings. It is good designed and made very nice
- Even having a college uniform it is not mandatory to wear it everyday
- It has good clubs like GDSC, photography club, sports club etc
Dislikes
- College campus is not that big. There are only buildings. Although it has space to make
- College is situated in outside of Kolkata in a village like area which is not very safe at night
- Language barrier. If you are a non bengali then you would face some difficulty
Course Curriculum Overview
It has good subjects in all the streams. Like in my first year of ECE i would be learning engineering maths, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, engineering drawing, English communication, and also C programming language
Internships Opportunities
I can't tell much more about internship. But have heard from some my seniors about their internships they are doing but they got it off campus. So i cant say more about internship opportunities you will get.
Placement Experience
It has decent placement. Mostly the package comes from CSE and ECE branch. It's average package is around 6 lakhs and highest gone to 24 lakhs offcampus. You could get decent package if you get skilled
Fees and Financial Aid
My 4 years b.tech fees is 6.25 lakhs. Although it was around 5.5 lakhs before. As it increases its fees. But if you are a bangali student you would get good amount of scholarship and also student credit card upto 10 lakhs
Campus Life
Your campus life would be nice. It organises verious events like prelude which would be fresher, mesmerizer in which they organised a concert of tushar joshi. They also have their depertmental fests. Various sports events like infinto, zest.
Admission
The college takes admission on basis of wbjee and also jee. ECE cutoff for wbjee in 2023 was around 35 thousand. You could also take direct admission by giving donation. Admission process is very easy like you will not be needed to come with your parents
Faculty
The college has good amount of facilities. Like you would have 2-3 teachers teaching you for a single subject. Some teachers are quite friendly and teaches very nice. Like you would enjoy them teaching. They are also very supportive.
