- Campus is full of environmental greenery, You will feel exceptional while entering the college.
- Faculties are also good, Specially CSE related faculties are good and they are supportive.
- Competitive nature of student is a thing which attracts me to join this college. And this college has decent placement overall.
Dislikes
- College campus is not so big, only 25 acre area. these 25 acre also include hostel, so ultimately you will get small campus.
- College hostel has very limited seats. You have to move outside for living, may be for pg or flat.
- This college has weird fee structures for students, Some students are paying in lacs, some are paying in thousands and even some are paying in hundreds.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is average because it is conventional curriculum which is going on from many years. Still college has made some changes which is for the betterment of students. College has added many new things for the students like skill lab which enhances the skill of a students and try to make them expert in every aspects.Overall it is quite good and competitive for the current world.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is quite good and it starts from 3rd year, approx 1300 internship offer are provided to the college's student in which half of them are paid.Teachers focused on projects from the first year which is beneficial for students to get placed.
Placement Experience
The placement is quite good of this college. 180 companies visited this year and approx 750 offers are provided to the studentsof college. The average package of 2024 is 7.9lac which is quite good. College has one of the best placement cell and till last round of placement approx every students gets placed so this is the happier side of the college. But one of the sad fact is more number of students get into mass recruitment and only few students get creamy packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is different for students. Here comes the weird factor of college. Fee for the students outside Karnataka is on higher side which is approx 2.7 lac while fee for students belonging karnataka is about 90k, while fee for Karnataka students who belong to SC-ST is very less. There is no scholorship for students outside Karnataka while there are many scholorship oppurtunities for students belonging to karnataka.
Campus Life
Overall experience of college life is average because only few students are living in hostel and mostly are localite or they live in pg. Annual fest of this college is also average because they don't spare money on those things. Sports activities are also average there is no proper playground for sports. Clubs are often active and most of the time it is inactive. Only study is good here if you ask honetsly.
Admission
For students outside karnataka, they have to give COMEDK exam for admission while for Karnataka people thery have to give KCET exam. There is no reservation for students outside Karnataka. Cutoff for COMEDK is slightly high if you are targeting branch related to CS, it may lie between 3k to 6k for 2024.COMEDK exam is conducted after JEE 2nd attempt and exam difficulty is on easier side, so you can crack easily even there is no negative marking which makes this exam slightly easy.
Faculty
Faculties are well and good. The student and faculty ratio is 60-70 students per faculty. Some faculties are really awesome while some seems boring not because they are not good enough just because thier teaching method is old. This college has faculties related to human development and pshycology which helps you to grow your mind and health in a positive way.
