I liked the architecture of the college. The campus is huge and clean. Every year many functions Take place at the college ground
The library is huge and we'll maintained. Overall good library
The computer lab is awesome. It has almost 30 to 40 computers

Dislikes

The official works. As per my experience the official works are way more complicated than other colleges
Course fees of computer science and BCA are on higher side.
Faculties are not so supportive. As they want you take tuition from them to get good marks

Well, computer science is a great course to have because after this you can do an MSc or MCA whatever you want, unlike the BCA. but yeah there are certain aspects which can be improved college should have focused on more appropriate final year projects so that we can add those to our resume and also they should let us decide which project we want to do. Rather than which project they want us to do.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In my course course fees are pretty higher than other courses in college. It's 13500/yr which means 40500 total for a 3yr course except for the fact that you have to pay examinations every semester. Though you can get govt scholarships if you have enough marks besides that college has private scholarships for needful and meritorious students But besides that, our college doesn't offer placements

Campus Life

Campus Life is good it has a canteen, you can join politics it has a student union as well, and the library is big enough, I don't have an idea how many books it has but it's huge and we'll be structured. Many extracurricular activities take place in college You can join NCC from college if you want.

Admission

The admission process is very easy though everything is online. You can apply for admission I mean you're eligible for computer science if you are from a science background I mean if you have science in 12th.

Faculty

Faculty members are well qualified and friendly but when it comes to teaching they teach in college very much. They use modern technology for study.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.

Our College in my views

10+2 with 50% marks The admission process is completely online. To get admission to the college application must apply through the college website. There are some specific numbers of reserved seats for reserved candidates. Currently, there are no entrance exams to get admission. The college website should be more efficient & easy to understand. Our college is the best in our district

1)I was really confused about how to apply for college.My school counselor didn't help me. So the process is not very easy for me. You have to do fill the form correctly then I gave money 150rs. Then the merit list was published within three weeks. I checked my merit list and I admitted into the college of malda collage.I took history honours .my course was Bachelor of arts. I decided. 2)I have applied two colleges. The Name of colleges was malda college and Gour Mahavidyalaya. I decided that I will admit into malda College. Because gour Mahavidyalaya is so far frome my house. I didn't admitted gour college. 3)I didn't applied any quota for me. I don't like. 4) our college wants just 80 percentage marks in higher secondary exam.our board is West Bengal higher secondary education.
