Campus-The college has an average sized campus . A football ground , a basketball court and a top court where we often play cricket and Is usually used for dj nights
Faculty- The EXTC department has a good teaching faculty. They are supportive and interactive even the lab assistants helps a lot

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is an important part. The syllabus itself has to improve . But the laboratories and the lab experiments are something which makes it interesting. The skill lab which is special subject where we learn different programming languages in every sem Is helpfull. The miniproject in every sem from 2nd year gives an opportunity to implement our ideas with the help of real technology

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees for general category is around 135000 The fees is very low for other reserved categories However the general category can avail scholarship of EBC The other catagories also avail different scholarships based on their eligibility criteria

Campus Life

The college has an average campus . Colosseum Is the biggest tech event organised every year by the student council The library has a good facility with seating arrangements and most of the books are available Every classroom has a projector for more enhanced teaching Football is quite popular in this college but other sports like basketball cricket and volleyball is also supported There are no. Of clubs and student chapters like maths club , Marathi club , ACM, etc The clg has a student branch of IEEE which conducts many flagship events

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to pass the 12th boards with more than 40% aggregate marks in PCM U have to apply for MHT-CET and based on the result u have to enter in the CAP rounds The average cutoff for general category is 75-80 for EXTC For departments like computers and It the cut off goes to above 90

Faculty

The faculty is really good. The teaching faculty are interactive ..there are even faculty mentors alloted to a set of 15 students . Almost after two weeks there are one on one mentoring sessions which are really helpful.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that
The professor and the staff of this Institute is very well educated and a experience that why no suggestion for this also

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student
Nothing this like in this college it is providing good opportunity

Placement Experience:

Yes there will be the good opportunity that can provided by the college many companies come in the college and they can over the placement for the students. What about the unplace student that can also doing good because they can take the education from the KK Wagh

Location of college is best near to juhu beach.
Placements of college is good also internship opportunities are there
Teacher's teaching is average but their behavior towards students are good

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

Placement Experience:

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

Our course is the most important thing in learning and for growth, but the way my college is handling it , is far too better to be compared. Every week an exam is arranged for each chapters, Mcq's , theory and oral-based exams are arranged.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. Experience of don Bosco student

Ok first of all the distance between my clg and my home is hardly 15 to 29 minutes and my clg is the only one clg for my degree which is so close to me I never applied to any other clg because of travelling ans so in the first round only I got selected from my clg as they have such goog infrastructure and also have the course what i want so I never tried in any other clg and the process is like you have to apply for it that HOD take interview of you then they select and you have to pay fees and done...Read More
