Competitive culture in regards to programming and innovation.
Fully Flexible Credit System in the college helps make a suitable time-table.

Dislikes

Attending classes and having to change classrooms every 50 mins.
Hostel wardens and strict policies, no proper communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

Having business as a minor with engineering is very interesting as a course. It's very practical with the real world and has courses like financial management, financial cost accounting, ethics and values, priniciples of management.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 390000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like HP, IBM, intel, microsoft, mahindra, tata, TCS, Infosys, deloitte, dyte, amazon have offered internships in the college and with work of proof in projects anyone can avail the opportunity.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, IBM, Tata, L&T, Bosch, Dell, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, intel, JP Morgan, dyte visit the campus. Average CTC is 9.23L as of 2024 and the number of students placed is 14345. A total of 4461 super dream offers, above 10L were offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no hikes in tution fees, it stays the same during all the 4 years. Financial aid is available for students. Even internships are provided by the college and can pay well and help financially.

Campus Life

The campus life is very happening here with so many students living on campus and services like gym, basketball courts, cricket grounds, stadium, badminton courts. VITs library is one of the biggest in the netire country and offers a wide range books on all topics possible.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels in the campus are fairly old but do not lack any essentials. Washrooms are fairly clean. Registration for hostels can be done using their own website before the start of semester. Almost each hostel block has it's own veg, non-veg and special mess and the food is pretty delicious with a wide range of options and the menu changes daily.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

VIT entrance exam should be taken and cleared to be eligible for admission and minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th grade is required. The admission process is fairly simple and does not lead to any problems.

Faculty

Each class has an average of 50-60 students. All faculties are qualified to teach and clear doubts and teach with utmost inspiration and explanation for courses. You can interact with teachers, whenever you wish to by contacting them or visiting their cabin.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
