I liked the college campus it's about 21 acres and a lot of space to enjoy a day
The canteen is good and it's a ragging free campus
The faculty members are good and helps us in every aspect weather it's cocuricullar activities and studies

Dislikes

Security of the college is not so good as expected
We have hostels only for the 4th year students so the monthly expenses are high for ua

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was interested in electric appliances so I decided to know the mechanism of devices that how it's used in day to day life and wanted to know at a bigger scale . The curriculum helps me to gain more knowledge in depth Some faculty members need to improve their way as they just read the notes which is very difficult for me to understand Otherwise the course is good and has alot of job opportunities in future

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 3000 rupees and by taking all the services it costs us 20000 per six months so we r getting education at a very cheap rate which can be affordable by most of us. Different scholarships are given like svmcm, oaisis , ongc etc upto 60000 rupees. The other charges includes the exam fee which is 1200 per semester Till now I have not applied for internships as our college provides us from 3rd year

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is known as ESPERANZA and freshers is CROESO the technical fest is known as byteburst. The library has a lot of books related to our courses A lot of extra curricular activities happens like different sports played , quize competition, debate ,etc We have 10-12 clubs in our college for eg. Art club, dance club, GDSC,quiz,drama,techonicksetc

Admission

We need to give the wbjee examination to enter in this college and secure a good rank to take addmission in this college . The reservations are for OBC A and B and SC and ST The faculties will help you in the time of admission when the wbjee counseling is done

Faculty

We have 6 faculty members for 60 sixty students the ratio is 1:10 and the teachers interact with us very oftenly and helps us in every way possible to improve our skills in every area. The teachers have done PhD in their respective courses

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

mostly from end of third year students start getting campus placements and companies like TCS AND WIPRO HIRE MAJORITY of the students. The average package is 450000 and highest package every year goes upto 9-12 lakhs per annum. I want to go into core Electronics domain for which I am preparing for masters as no core electronics companies come in this college

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

To get admission in this college you have to appear for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and must be resident of West Bengal.
