Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum taught is strictly DCI Approved and is good for further academic pursuits. On personal levels, I liked the comprehensive clinical posting idea for UGs which was implemented by former Dean and would like for it to be implemented back. The exams included three terminals and one professional exam which are when prepared throughout the year, aren't that difficult

Internships Opportunities

4

The mandatory paid internship is offered in the fifth year of the course. The student can also reach out and do this mandatory internship at some other college as well. Different hands on courses and workshops are also offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for academic year 2016-17 was 325,000 which was fixed by the government. For scholarship parts, students have to apply for government scholarships. And a mandatory paid internship in the fifth year of course is also offered by the college

Campus Life

3.5

There is one annual University fest organised generally in the month of February or March named UTKARSH, where colleges of different courses from the university itself or other universities do participate.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility has been good. Both AC and NON AC hostels are available. Almirah, bed, study table and chairs are provided. Washrooms are comman. Meal quality is average. Hostels need to be registered at the start of the academic year

Admission

Student have to clear the NEET exam and then after that during the course of counseling they can apply for the college. There's no benefit of reservation. The admission is solely based on government exam so no third party interjection.

Faculty

3.5

In the class of 100, it usually is difficult for the faculty to focus on every individual but when approached, they try to solve every query that a student has. Also every faculty has a specialisation in their respective subjects with many years of teaching and clinical experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course over MBBS , I LIKE THIS BETTER , you're a specialised doctor just after graduating, you're ready for the outside world, to earn money , better career options . About exams, nothing is too difficult if you study properly. Its normal difficulty if you study its easy ,if you don't study its gonna be hard. Notes system should be removed . More tests should take place like fortnightly test . Dissection is a must.

Overall, responses from both the quantitative and qualitative data indicated moderate to high levels of satisfaction with the quality of teaching, instruction, learning and student engagement; with students being less (but nevertheless still) positive about workloads, assessments, outcomes and available or assigned resources.
