Course Curriculum Overview

3

Some courses are pretty outdated and not in use such as the 8085 microprocessor. The elective subjects are few in number due to less number of faculty offering electives, but this number is increasing now due to our new campus and new faculties.

Placement Experience

3

The placements have been quite decent and have had 100% placements in the past. The average comes to be a bit average but the highest package so far might be above 44LPA. The main branchea company hire students from are CSE ECE and EEE. The number of students getting placed from CSE and ECE are very good and have good salary packages around 10LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is bit much for a normal student but for economically weak or reserved category students the fee structure is quite affordable. The fee structure is seemly better than that of BITS. The additional fees also add up to be bit much but is affordable

Campus Life

3

The Institute didn't have a campus until last year and was having a temporary campus which was quite small and had poor infrastructure but after being moved to the new campus the infrastructure has improved much much significantly. Still a lot of work is pending and the infrastructure might go much better. The campus life is quite good and the students are good to be around with. Not much club activities take place but when they do it's fun and enjoying.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities in the nee campus is quite good and but lack of transportation within the campus is a bit of headache and student have to travel a but much. The mess food varies day to day that is it is good sometimes and bad. The fees for hostel is a bit high but the room facilities and all is quite good. The rental and pg system in the locality is quite new ans unknown

Admission

The Institute is not very old and just this year was shifted to it's new campus. The seats before were quite less before but might increase now. The entrance was through jee and the cutoff varies for home state and other state students. Home state student have seemingly cutoff at a much larger rank compared to the other states students. The cutoff varies every year.

Faculty

4

There are less amount of professor as compared to the the numbers of students. The faculty is highly experienced and some follow unique approaches to help us gain knowledge. Some professors are hard to understand and some are easier. Interaction between the professors is good due to less number of capacity in the Institute.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
