Course Curriculum Overview

4

course curriculum is very much relevant to industry level.it helps in getting real time industry experience. Schedule for classes is also very flexible.3-4 classes happen in a day. weekly labs are also done for the hands on experience. In every semester 2 minors, 1mid exam and 1 end exam conducted to evaluate the grades of the students. grading system is relative. Sometimes surprise tests are also conducted by few teachers. after the exams solutions are provided to check answers. Evaluation is also done on time and in the presence of the student. If i have to suggest something will be teaching by hands on board rather than by projectors.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies offer internships for interested students from 6th semester itself. They offer paid summer internship for 2-3 months. Students get working experience during internship program so that they get ready for full time work. For getting internship one has to complete some projects related to their study and role.

Placement Experience

5

From 7th semester onwards placements start for the students . students can get internship in 3rd year itself. Many big companies like Tata, reliance, amazon, Google, Microsoft and may others visit campus for placements. Placement percent6for our branch is 90 percent. Highest package was 35 lpa from mechanical branch and average ctc was 14lpa for previous year. I also got job during campus placement and will be joining the company in upcoming months.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is taken from the students on the basis of their income category. Students those annual income is more than 5lakhs have to pay 62.5k rupees per semester. Students with family income between 1-5 lakhs have to pay 20.5k per semester and the students who belong to low income category (annual income less than 1 lakh) need not to pay tuition fee. Many scholarships are provided for poor and hard working students. College provides fee waiver to brilliant students according to their grades.

Campus Life

4

In our college one cultural fest organized in the month of April and one technical fest is organized in the month of December. students showcase their talents in both fests. We have one central library in the collage . it consists of over 1lakh books and journals. books vary from technical knowledge to social issues. The classrooms are also well equipped with blackboards and projectors. each classroom has capacity of 80 students. Sports facility is also very good in campus. every year intramural tournament is organized for different games . this year our college organized inter nit athletic games. Many clubs are also there for students to participate which help in making bond with other students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is available for the students.single occupancy, double occupancy and triple occupancy is available. for 1st year students triple occupancy is given for 2nd and 3rd year double occupancy is given.for final year students single room is provided.mess facility provided for hostelers. mess food is just ok . combination of south indian plus north indian food is available in mess. after reaching hostel office one can give documents and can get room.if anyone wants to live outside the campus than he/she can get near the campus.

Admission

To get admission in the nit warangal one have to crack the jee mains exam with good rank.ne can find application form on nta.com website.application fee is 600 rupee for general and obc category students and 300 for sc, st category students.Exam is conducted twice in a year and the best of 2 is taken as final rank.ecam level is easy to moderate but one has to give his best to get a decent rank . If i have to suggest something i would recommend nta to conduct jee mains exam once in a year.

Faculty

4.5

faculty to student ratio is 1:8 so teachers can focus on all students properly.Almost all the faculties all PhD graduate so they very well know how to teach and mentor each student.they guide us in every situation and about every matter.we can interact with teachers whenever we have any doubts.we can approach them after the class or during college hours in their cabins. they always provide full support.

Interview Experience

4.5

For admission a good rank in jee main is required. In the exam 75 questions are asked. among 75 questions 60 are multiple choice questions and 15 are integer type questions.one hase to get atleast 200 marks from general category to get admission in this college.Good preparation is required for this.you can join any test series to check your preparation. try to minimise negative marking.attempt questions with good accuracy is required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
