Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Love and curiosity towards living beings, how life beings, how it works, these questions influenced me to take my course. In real world, we definitely need to advance in the research of animal research, molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology to develop vaccination, medicines and to treat cancer using CAR-T cell therapy, the latest in India. Proper guidance and research laboratory is required to a successful career in it. Also the most important exam, CSIR-NET. You have to qualify JRF in order to pursue PhD and it is quite difficult. Only 1% of the total applicants get JRF. Competition is tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee is quite affordable i.e 28000. Hostel fee is 10000 per year plus meal fee. There are various scholarships like Post matric scholarship and state scholarship of rupees 20000. There is no campus employment sadly .

Campus Life

5

Overall experience is unforgettable. Annual festivals hold in the month of January. Library has unlimited and all the books and magazines and journals are available. It's clean and silent with AC. You can issue books. There are computers to use in library. High technology in departments. Interstate sports activities occurs in our university. Social awareness and science seminars and webinars are conducted frequently.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is B.Sc in Zoology. The state conduct an entrance called CPET every year. According to the mark obtained in the entrance and career mark, the rank list is published. The application fee is 500 Rupees and conducted in the month of June . Reservation for SC, ST, OBC is there. It is conducted once in a year. Duration of the exam is 2 hours with no negative marking. The demerit is that it is conducted in offline mode so fraud/cheating happens and shortage of time.

Faculty

2

There are only four faculties and non of them was permanent for 60 students including both first and second year which is the main cause of irregularities in classes and ultimately hampers the quality education. To be honest, they lack in subject in-depth teaching. We don't get any support from them. Only self study helped for examination. I did my thesis all alone with the help of interest and chat gpt. My mentor didn't bother to guide me .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a student at AIPH University of Zoology Honors. My area of interest is zoology and the faculty members here are very supportive. So, I chose zoology as my core subject. There are specific faculties for every subject. All the faculties of our University are PhD professionals and their method of teaching is excellent. All the topics that are taught in the class are exam-oriented. The exams are conducted once every month. There are two mid-term and one end-term in each semester. The final year is mainly concerned with research proposals and seminars.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i want to study in details about the microorganisms present around us, how they harmful for us and how they are beneficial for us. And i also chose this course so that i can serve the society as a microbiologist. The faculty members are highly qualified, well-experienced, and very friendly. They did their post-docs in various recognized universities. They are all good and cooperative. The term exams are neither too hard nor too easy to pass.
