Likes

The faculty of our college is best and well knowledgeable and the faculty was to good and help gull
Classes and lectures are on time and the society were best in our college,we have so many societies
The crowd was good, everyone is so helpful, and friendly nature

Dislikes

The structure was not as good as other colleges but it's ok ok
Also the canteen was not so good but the was good
Campus was small if we compare to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was basically combination of two subjects ba programme (political science+history) This course is well know in several universities But there's one thing there are so many students as compared to hons course

Placement Experience

Their were no placement for 1st year students. Placement were allotted after 2-3 year Many big companies come in our college every year like Bajaj sony. Highest package was around 9-10lakh I don't know the actual percentage but still so many students got placement. My plans are not ready now

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my college (Sri Aurobindo college) was affordable. My first year fees was around 8-9k And last year fees was around 10k And exam fees was 500every semester . Scholarship are available for sc/st and PWD students Also several scholarship given to students. Campus employment were not that bad Many students get internship with good amount

Campus Life

Delhi University were famous for their fest In my college many singers and influencers come for fest. It happens only one in a year but it was best. Several books were provided by college for students. Also for every course books are available. Labs were good in our college and also faculty too. Many sports are available in our college and also they won many championship. Also societies are best in our college. Several groups were started by students for welfare of students

Admission

At the time when I taken admission there were no such thing like cuet but in 2022 cuet started you need more 850 marks for good course and plus more marks for good college. You have to apply for cuet and give exams and then you have to choose college according to your marks. Their are two timings for exams one in morning and other in evening. The exams were at moderate level. The faculty should help students in examination process

Faculty

Faculty The faculty of our college are well qualified. They were qualified from top colleges of India And also so many teachers were qualified from Delhi University. They are very friendly and understand and teach very well. Also many teachers cracked many civil exams. Also they guide what should they do in future

Interview Experience

No there is no discussion for it you have to prepare for cuet exam Cuet is the criteria to take admission in Sri Aurobindo college You have to score to good marks to get admission You can prepare for the exam from youtube and other sites

Kamala Nehru College: Where Opportunity awaits

Likes

I really liked the environment of the college as there was a diverse set of students coming from across the country.
The faculty was top notch and was very dedicated and knowledgeable. If we faced any issue they would come up to help us deal with it.
Also i liked the infrastructure of the college as they recently added a new building and have improved a lot in sports equipments and facilities.

Dislikes

The admin section of the college is very slow and it is a hassle to deal with them. Half a time they are either on a break or on lunch.
There is sometimes non availability of chairs in classrooms like there are approx 40 chairs in each classroom but if the strength of the class is more then we have to borrow it from the next classroom.
Also you will have to take up some additional course which sometimes feel unnecessary but its not only in this particular college but in all the colleges under University of Delhi.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

KMC in my words

Likes

I liked the environment and the crowd of the college, and also my professors. Like seriously they are so helpful and kind
Also what I like about this college is that it's liberal unlike other colleges of North campus
I love the ashoka lawn and the big ground in front of the gym

Dislikes

I hate the staff, especially the technical staff ( Ankita Jain ), I went to her with erp portal issue and she just didn't look after my issue properly and sent me away. It was totally unexpected. She must be removed from her position.
The canteen staff, I didn't like their behaviour
Some of the seniors are shit and not helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 9 out of 10. The reason is simple, whatever my professors teach and everything that is there in my syllabus is really helpful for my future. Not just that, they way lectures are delivered by the professors is just awesome

An idiot's guide around college

Likes

environment of my college is far better than all the other colleges I have been to, there is zero to none chances of there ever being something unsafe on campus
maintenance of my college is taken very seriously, in only my 1st month of attending college ii saw precautions being taken due to heavy flooding in the college campus
accessibility is one of the things in my college that is so serious and provided with such care that it feels weird when outside campus no such accessibility is not to be seen

Dislikes

there is little to no room for giving students relaxibility in situations of difficulty during talks of giving a leave or not

Course Curriculum Overview:

philosophy as va discipline covers mostlt all the subjects related to humanities, it'll widen your knowledge and you thinking abillity more than that of a oridinary student, the job market is quite difficult for this course

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Likes

College provides a free environment for sports.
It is ragging free college and many anti ragging laws are here
One of the best features of our college is it in origanising seminar time to time.

Dislikes

There is a issue in time table uncertain classes are a problem for us
So high attendance criteria makes us in trouble.
There are not hostal facility which make a critical situation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I want to become ias.approximately 100students in class . . Many proofesser are highly educated like PhD ma etc our faculty offers many opportunities.There are 6 semester in 3 years and 2 in each year .it is normal to crack the exam but hard to get High marks

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.

College Life Through Real Experience

I am in DU but the DU has many colleges under it and my college is one of them. I have applied for other colleges also but we can choose which college we want to go ourself it happens through CUET after that we get our college through our preference list and marks.I also got choosen in BHU and many other ones but choose this to get new experience and wider perspective about things as Delhi is very popular and people want to study here .I didn't get selected to other colleges under DU that was on my preference list was due to the cut off as cutt off for DU north campus university are very high and seats are less also many seats are reserved and there are quotas also.The cut off for South Campus are in between 650-550 that's how i get my college.The the admission occurs in rounds you can upgrade if you are not satisfied with your college but at one point you cannot upgrade as per your marks that is the suitable colkege you can get.CUET is the most preffered exam and to get into big government universities you have to give this .There are also universities that give admissions without CUET many private universities come under this category....Read More

Commendable

Okay, so this is a very interesting story at my time. There was an introduction of an entrance exam called CUET, where I appeared for written and I scored basic 690÷8000 we were told to make a reference list, according to this marks, we have obtained Obviously I wouldn't have chosen this college because it is a part of South campus. I have preferred all the north campus colleges over the South campus colleges, but having hard luck, I got this one. I was not happy to come here because I basically not belong to this place but When I have made friends over here, I have introduced to the teachers and introduced to the college environment now I feel good. Even I thought about the migration process but again and luckily it didn't happen. Yes, now I have money left. I need to spend it quite happily and yes, I am quite happy with my college and my overall experience is very healthy, very good....Read More
