Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE course because I have an interest in the core subjects of this course. The syllabus of this course is a bit vast . Almost every semester, some of the topics left untouched before the exams. If they reduced the syllabus then it will be way more effective and interesting for students. The difficulty level of exam is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees in this college is 4,25,000. Along with this you'll have to pay skill development fees and exam form fees at intervals. Scholarships of 60k per year is provided by the west Bengal government for the students of west Bengal studing in this college.
Campus Life
My overall campus experience is great . There is cultural fest named Arcadia and a tech fest named Techfiesta . Both of them happens around summer and it is great. There are many sports tournaments also for basketball, football and volleyball. There are many clubs like photography, music, karate and many more.
Admission
For admission in this college you have to clear WBJEE examination and then you'll be here through WBJEE councelling. The entrance exam is not so difficult. The cut offs for different courses are : CSE : 11k CSBS :25k ECE : 34K EE: 46k ME and EEE around 63k
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Many of them are IITs and IIMs alumni. Many faculty members are quite friendly. Their way of teaching is quite impressive. Although if you're from outside of Bengal, you'll have a hard time understanding the concepts as most of the professors teaches in Bengali.
