Course Curriculum Overview

3

The mechanical engineering course as all know is very intense and requires special attention specially subjects like, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, etc The course can be improved very much so. Becauss the practicality in teaching is not there and is very theory-based rather than practical based. Which is not good for the field of mechanical. The frequency of exam is high there are 1 sem every 5-6 months which can get affected by events and stuff which causes the syllabus to be studied in a rush.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Tcs is one of the main that offers for mechanical engineers, for coding related there are many companies that are offering high paying jobs and internships last year highest package was from amazon with 40 lpa in computer engineering. Projects are given very often and the outcomes and teachings.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is okay as compared to other colleges, but as this college is not considered that good of a college so it's pretty high for that reason. The hikes in fees is not that turbulent. The usually cost of college is around ?1,58,000 There are government charges, fees, infrastructure costs, etc are all included. There are schemes or fee structure different for obc/sc/st.And for lower income families a government scheme. Campus employment is very hogh for computer, it, aiml, aids engineers . Job roles for mechanical engineers not so much in demand.

Campus Life

3.5

Ther eare many events, fests, technical and cultural ,sports such as Zephyr, tspark, hackathon, sojourn etc. They are held once a year except hackathon Books and journals are accessible to all students in the libraries with all the books that are available. The facilities and equipments in all branches are exceptional and students can use it with supervision, classrooms are equipped with projectors. College sports team and evemts lile, zephyr and tspark are held by student bodies. Student bodies are various types from cultural to technical tsdw, ncc nss, rotract, asme, asce, etc

Admission

Admission process is either by cap rounds for cet or management quota Eligibility is for 12th very linient But for cet around my time the cut off was very low because of covid. Reservation fee structure is there and are varied from general category fee structure. As it is an private Institute the exams are more linient than government exams, and frequency of exams are around 2 in one year. Areas of improvement are method of teaching, and frequent changing of faculties.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio in our college is pretty good and does not need any change but the time to time changes of faculty can be frustrating . But the faculties are educated and know what they are doing. Approach of teachings differs by faculty like everyone has different type of approach on teaching. The Approchability and interaction with teachers are very good as in we can message them any time and replies mostly given.
