What Students Say

Likes

The teaching staff here are very supportive.
Less burden to the students leading to better emotional health
Various activities regularly held for refreshments of the students

Dislikes

Campus size is quite small as compared to other nit
Food facilities were not up to the mark in taste, service, availability
Hostel space was limited so there were lot of needy students who didn't got the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mostly course were so old and out dated but they newly included few more subjects which teach us about the new technology and techniques which is used in day to day. The teaching methods of most of the teachers were too intresting though some were rude and had different methods. Exams were held on regular intervals and assignments were alloted to the students in daily basis to revise the things tought in the class.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement were good there were too many company who came and gave opportunities to the students. Mostly all the students who were elegible got placed and some students got more than 2 offers form the company. Vedanta limited came gave 100 opportunities Deloitte came and gave 120+ opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was according to the family's annual income. There were three slabs 1- Under 1 lakh 2- Between 1-5 lakh 3- Above 5 lakh Some scholarship were provided according to caste of the students. For general there were very less opportunities for and fee concession.

Campus Life

There were so many functions organised Cultural - Diwali celebration, Garba celebration, Eclectica, makar Sankranti Technical - e summit, avartan. Sports - samar the sports fest Nss NCC club were organised.

Admission

As I was a general student so for me it was very necessary to get above 90 in jee examination to get entrance in any good ranking college and due to reservation the students who got too less in the jee examination were in the same class. I think General student should also get some benefit other wise huge talanted people were not eligible for the college

Faculty

There were enough faculties to interact with the students. We were assigned a faculty advisor who was mentoring five students from each year. We can ask and meet them couple times a week and they helped us so much for our academic and personal growth.
