Great infrastructure with modern facilities
Lots of activities and circumstances activities happen in this university
Seperate departments available along with seperate building

Dislikes

College timing is of very longer duration almost almost 8 hours a day
College is located very far away from main city almost it take 1 hour to reach college from town

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has some unique and different course which other colleges don't have which was b.com in banking and finance. So it's attracted me alot to take admission in this college. They have well teaching method according to modern need.

Internships Opportunities

In all semester you have to submit atleast one live project which can be project like schools or internship work experience in written form. And also various internship offer within the college with minimum stipend of Rs 0.

Placement Experience

From 4 semester you are eligible for placement opportunities and also they provide many internship opportunities.the average placement package maybe around 4 to 5 lakh Also many companies come for seminars and placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for b.com banking and finance is 24,000 per semester and 48,000 per year. And scholarship is also provided according to your performance on board exams and along with this additional fees are taken such as caution fee of 2,000 uniform fee of 4,000 Late fee of 600.

Campus Life

My experience was good in this college.this college is good for activities and fastival and for international students. There are lots of international students and the college environment is also good.

Admission

Eligibility for b.com is just passed the board exams and admission to this college has two methods online and offline online you have to apply on their website and take their college entrance exam known as Kalsee exam

The faculty are well educated and highly experienced. They were very friendly with their teaching method and also provide their valueable mentorship. The teachers are very humble and friendly they even can get touch with us outside the college.

I come from the Commerce department i must say it is the pretty active department in our college our HOD Professor deepiks dadsena is very puntucl and very friendly kind of nature and other teachers are also pretty active and helpful to students.

My review about my college

Likes

Their some teachers are nice and help students for studies
Infrastructure is average but it's okay too do my bachelors degree

Dislikes

At summers it gets extremely hot and the humidity level it unbearable
College main gate guard is very rude and college don't do anything about that

Course Curriculum Overview:

First, I wanted to go with the basics as I came from commerce and don't wanna to or take any kind of risk or do anything experiments by changing or opting for some hardcore subject, so that's why I chose b.com Second, the student ratio was not too much but a bit excessive like 1 teacher and 50 students plus. Third, the qualification of the faculty was good and I feel that they know what they are teaching to the students. Fourth, exams were timing theirs as per my experience.

There is no campus placement facility for Commerce Department there is no direct placement on the college but there are certain student placement programs organized that are direct but useful. There are very few percentages of a student getting placed very few. I planned to do post-graduation.

My College

Admission:

I chose this institute because it was considered one of the best colleges in durg-bhilai for Bcom, also I knew one of the teacher who suggested me to get into this college. For the admission I just had to submit my 10th and 12th results then the first list came out after a week with my name in it and the college counselor told me that I had to get registered before the second list comes out so I did. They were not ready to tell us the exact seats for the subject. After a while I realised that everyone who had applied has got into the college, the whole first list second list was a scam.

I have heard about Kalinga University after completing my 12th standard that it was a reputable college of chattisgarh the course I want to choose was also available here and it is verified from ugc so it's degree also has value in future. Great Life at Kalinga!

I applied for Amity University, Raipur but read some negative reviews and also they didn't provide online classes that's why I dropped the idea. I chose Kalinga University because counsellor explained everything nicely. No i didn't got any rejection from any college. Process is not so difficult. There is an entrance exam KALSEE.
