- I liked the environment of the college. People are really friendly
- Placement are good. Median package is around 17 lakh
- There are lot co curricular activities also which leads to overall child development
Dislikes
- Staff is not so good. They take extra classes and non of the things they explain are clear
- Hostel conditions are not at all good especially for boys
- College infrastructure is poor and that's why nirf ranking is low
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum I think is really bad. I mean what is the purpose of dedicating full semester of CSE to non circuital subjects and courses(which will not be useful in our future). The course is focussed more towards theoretical knowledge and not towards practical knowledge
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are really good..like the major recruiters are Microsoft and JP morgan and they provide really good stipend to those who are embedded with a lot of skills..so In order to get good internship you have to prepare good resume and u have to build projects
Placement Experience
Campus placements are really good if the college as I previously mentioned . They are really good from 7th semester companies start coming . But interns are hired in 5th sem only . There is a good percentage of students getting placed around (60%). Highest package was around 84 lacs and avarage package is around 17 lacks good package
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is increased now to almost 15-20% which is not good. but yeah there are scholarships for the students those who scored good rank in jee mains and those who score good cgpa. There are also scholarships for sc/at. A lot of companies come for the placements here and placements here are good
Campus Life
As I mentioned earlier overall life of college is really gud but infrastructure is not good. Environment is really good you have lot of opportunities to interact with other people through clubs and games and build self confidence. These co-curricular activities helps in building overall personality of a person
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are in not that good condition especially boys. Mess meals are not really gud. But some some days they cook good food. Hostels rooms are really small. But I guess bathrooms are good as compared to Punjab University. Register process of hostel is by payment through demand draft
Admission
The admission process took place through josaaa and it was conducted in 5 rounds. Cutoff for cse was around 12 k i guess (open other state). After that you have to visit official website of pec for further details of physical reporting and get addmission. during admission there was lot of hustle which I don't like
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. But they does not make things much clear. They just speak and and does not try to clear things to students. They are really strict also. Not for all teachers. Some teachers are good. There are some teachers who does not allow students to come to them at any chance
