Likes

Top class infrastructure, the campus is really huge and a fully green .
High experienced faculties. Faculties are so friendly in nature and cooperative

Dislikes

Too many restrictions. In the scenerio of a student University fail to deliver a good college experience
Food quality . Food quality is so bad in hostel mess
Attandance criteria. Ther didn't provide any medicle leave no matter how sick you are or you had a accident

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is very same as the all private colleges have in India . The curriculum of my college doesn't prepare for real world they just make us a hamster which is doing work and work all the time . All the areas of this curriculum should need improvement.

Internships Opportunities

There are no such internships in the college students themselves grab the opportunity from outside. And if we are doing any internship than we have to pay they don't give any stiphen. Projects like web development and cloud computing are taken place.

Placement Experience

Placements are quiet good but when we see the no. Of students studying in the university than we can say this that the college doesn't provide a good ROI. Highest average package is around 10 to 12 lakh per annum . But most of students get an average package of 4 to 6 lakh per annum. College say that they have 100% placement but this is not real 50 to 60% of students only get placement. After getting the degree I will go for business or go for foreign

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is really to expensive as they charge 120000 for one semester but some scholarships are also available for all students . Scholarships are divided on the marks of the exam they conduct (LPUNEST). Campus employment is huge but it's not available for students .

Campus Life

Some of major events take place in the university like one India, youthfest and some others they take place when new admissions came in the month of September to November. Library is so huge and over 1lakh books are there which are available 24/7 for students. Classrooms are quiet good acs are there and projector's also but the sitting facilities are not so good they provide bad chairs .

Hostel Facilities

All the rooms are available AC and non AC . All types of room available from 2seater to 5 seater and dormatery also.in the room they provide attach washroom and bathroom with study tables. Meal quality is so poor of the hostel mess. Menu is same all the week roti,dal,one sabji.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

There is neither any eligibility to get admission you just need to pass 12th. Exam timings are quiet good but not so impressive. Eligibility test (LPUNEST) makes a important role in getting scholarship.

Faculty

The ratio of faculty to students is good there are too many faculties but many of them are the students which is persuing masters degree in the university. Interaction with faculties is really easy ther are available all the time in there cabins. Teaching quality of faculties is not so good they just come with a readymade ppt and read it in the class and than go no brief explanation is given by them.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
