Remarks

The Infrastructure is not that good, there is not much-called campus and also it dept needs to be a little less strict

Entrance Preview

I am from Nagpur and was looking for a college in Bombay and got to know about this college which had Sindhi quota and I am a Sindhi and wanted to pursue IT engineering. Also one of my relatives was studying here and I had a positive review of the college!

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is quite good and interesting and as you can see the technology is changing day by day, it's to us that the IT students get to learn it first! Course changing happens quite frequently in IT but now that I'm in the third year it's a regular thing and one can get used to it!

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they do. Not the college but the different committees that run in the college, you can opt for them according to your branch!

Placement Experience

2.5

Can't really say much about this because I am yet to get placed and it's my third year and according to the information have got from my senior mates, .out of them have been placed! Of course, it's Mumbai University and you need to have a 6.75 aggregate for at least a good company!

College Events

3.5

There are one big festival call trifles in the college that is organized by the students Council and it's one of the biggest festivals of Mumbai University and one of the first festival too! It's amazing as it has provides and friend big stars coming into the festival!

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive as I don't think that the college provides the facilities that come under the act criteria of fees, it could be around 80k and that would be a good amount! But there is an EBC quota in the college and for the ones who's salary comes under the ebc quota

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't really have an idea about that! Recently there was one but I didn't look into it so not a good idea about that!

Campus Life

2

There there is a good campus life when it comes to the social life as there is a sl in the college but there is no campus place I mean the campus is just two buildings. there is one committee for the sports and there is no there is no discrimination in gender.

Hostel Facilities

3

there is no hostel for the college but there is a hostel around the college which is maintained by some other person and food of the college is not so good but it's like most of the canteens in other colleges! There is a cc'd though which keeps on everyone going well all day!

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah of course they are, you can have a talk with them to get a better knowledge about the college and also the placements in my case

Exam Structure

Mumbai University exam structure needs to be a little better coz you are either fail or pass there is nowhere in between! Most of the students don't get the marks they deserve so they need to get better with the exam department and also the rival department!

Admission

So I filled the mhcet form and cleared that exam and then I got in through the cap rounds and I was selected in the first cap round itself. I was trying to look for a better college but I was not getting one so I locked the seat in the second round and now I'm here

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is good but the IT and computer department is quite serious about the attendance issue! And don't think you'll get marks for free! One has to study hard to even pass! Overall the faculty is good and will make sure you become a good engineer if you don't mess around with them

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
