The academic program are intellectually stimulating , offering a perfect balance between practical and theoretical knowledge . The faculty members are highly educated and experienced and dedicated to students success . I had an incredible experience.
The campus itself well maintained and beautiful providing a conductive environment for both studying and socializing there are numerous curricular activities
My college not only prepared me accademically but also helped me to grow personally and professionally. Placement are well and good of you are an hardworking student.

Dislikes

The administrative process sometimes slow and time consuming whether it's registering for classes or financial aids. Things are time consuming it can be frustrated
There is no enough space for parking for the students
The dining options in the campus is limited to some extent

B.com provides a comprehensive education in various aspects of business including accounting finance marketing and management this board skills is set of valuable information and applicable to numourous industry The curriculum prepare me for the real world applications for further academic pursuits Increase the use of interactive teaching methods

The fees structure of my college is structured and to be competitive and reflective of the comprehensive education provided it includes tuition fees , lab fees and miscellaneous charges. Merit based scholarship for students . These scholarships financially and significantly reduced burden from students The complete cost of my education is 36000 for 3 years

Campus Life

The college held annual function at the end of every year and ethnic days on every indian festival The college regularly organise wise rangeog social events including cultural events sports events workshops these events provide students better opportunity to develop new interest

Admission

The application process is begin with filling the admission form available of college official website Basically students has to give an entrance exam and score good marks so that it can meet the eligibility criteria of my college Common university entrance exam has to be give to take admission in DU The result of entrance exam is delayed which is little frustrating

Faculty

Faculty members employa variety of various teaching methods to cater the different learning styles they integrate real world applications with theoretical knowledge making the material engaging and relevant Professor are generally approachable and willing to help students even outside the class they maintain regular office hours The faculty are always ready to help students as the students are high in volume still they help each and every student

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

Placement Experience:

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet
