Likes

Good behaviour of Professors. They are very helpful in Nature.
Very friendly environment for students to study.
Various extra curricular activities like sports day, plantation work, etc.

Dislikes

Lack of good infrastructure and smart classrooms.
Lack of digitalisation in office work and admission process.
Less awareness about scholarship schemes and other benefits is provided to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in economics that's why I opted for this course of masters in economics. I also completed my graduation in economics as well. The course is very helpful in understanding the realistic approach around us what's going on with our country and economy at present. The syllabus should be more of practical approach and there is a need of Change in some parts as well. There is a delay in semester exam process and we get less time duration for the preparation.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 3160 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is between 4000 to 4500 but the exam fees charged is too high. There is less knowledge given to the students about the scholarship and internship programs. Our department also organises some confrences and seminars related to our subject and current issues. There is no job placements. But students perform exceptionally well in the academics and the field of government exams.

Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty good. You may also get chance to enroll yourself in NSS, NCC and other sports as well. Environment is friendly in the campus which is affected by the university elections. There are various study centre for students to create awareness on the current topics in the country. Example: Ambedkar study centre, University of Rajasthan.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rent is moderate and affordable. We have facility of 2 times food. The quality of food and menu is average. Initially the application process for hostel is online but once you get it then the verification and fees deposit process is offline. The nearby PG or Rooms rent is four times higher than the hostel. Hence hostel is very useful and good for students.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Admission

The application process for the admission is online initially. We have to clear the entrance exam which is organised by the university. Then the cutoff is made accordingly. After clearing the cut off we need to get our documents verified from department office in offline mode. This verification can be also done online to provide convenience for the students.

There is ratio of one teacher on 20 students approx. Behaviour of teachers is very kind and friendly for students. We can directly approach to the teachers in case of Any doubt and if we need help. All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated.

it flexible and good for working students
the lecturer also have a youtube accounts they post important topic there
the study material is easy to read and the language is very easy to understand.

Dislikes

they don't connect with you over the calls.
if you have any questions you to rise a ticketand the will answer we late.
the grading system is very confusing they don't tell how they done it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have to work on my communication skills and learn how to communicate fluently. And this course really helps me to communicate way better in English and teaches about content writing, which I am learning right now. I will say the course curriculum is good; it can be better if there is a small online lecture on Sunday, it would be great. There is no problem with the timing of the exam.

The lack of practicality is the main problem of the university
It's situated too far from city there is one more problem.
The direct communication with professors is couldbe better

I like hindi literature so much that I want to do masters only in hindi subject. The curriculum of the subject is very great and relatable. The comprehensive of subject is very knowledge rich. I don't think there is much need of changing course curriculum. Because the course decided by UGC.

An honest review for the future of your education.

Likes

Infrastructure on the whole of college is decent and student friendly. They have big classrooms and lush green environment which enhances the positivity of the campus. Library along with other campus amenities are up to the mark.
Master's in economics becomes an important and relevant course owing to the current developing scenario. One needs to have information and knowledge about how economy work and how actually a nation develops.
Faculty of the college was really cooperative and helpful. They supported students throughout the course duration. Provided all around guidance and support and helped students navigate through various course options available.

Dislikes

Although the course duration is of 2 years still the amount of activities and practical solutions required for the subject depth was absent. This needs to be corrected so that mere bookish knowledge is not gathered.
Washrooms of the college weren't of good quality. Despite rigorous complaints nobody worked for them which created a bit of discomfort for students specially girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The entire course was divided into 9 subjects. The previous year that is the first year had 4 subjects which were more of a basic understanding which included micro, macro economics and the final year had 5 subjects. The entire Economics curriculum was carefully subjugated into parts so that students can access them easily and increase their knowledge base and information about the subject. the examination was also based upon the need and fact that requires in depth understanding of the topic. Apart from this, the examination was conducted in a timely manner and the level of paper was also moderate to difficult. The marking scheme was also as per the official scheme prescribed by the university making the entire process smooth and student friendly. I personally chose this course due to the fact that I had great amount of interest towards economy and it's functioning since class 12th. So it becomes more lucrative for me to complete my higher education in it.

Carefully curated curriculum to help all round development of personal and professional fronts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum aptly covers all aspects of the subject that a professional should know. It prepares a person for real world too as there is equal amount of importance given to learning of theory as well as understanding the practical implications of what have been learned. A scholastic year is divided into two semesters. One semester includes coverage of 2 syllabus units after which the CA (continuous assessment) takes place. After the CA the rest 3 syllabus units are covered and then the Semester End Examinations take place. After the SEE, there is a break of around one month followed by another semester. In all, one Semester covers 5 units and overall the curriculum covers 10 units in one scholastic year in every paper code. This system allows to efficiently understand and learn about the required material without putting too much pressure at once.

Remarks:

It's a great university for those who wants to study but because of some problems like boys who wants to study but they also have to earn money for their family they can easily complete their studies while doing their job. Same for girls who want to study but because of some family restrictions if they are not allowed to go out for studying they can easily Complete their studies direct from home. The university also provide study material for the course which you have applied for by post to direct your residence address.
