Remarks

There was no entrance exam and the thing to takeadmission was either 60 percent in boards or 50 percentile in jee mains and admission process was in chitkara school,chandigarh where all the certificates and norms were been checked

Course Curriculum Overview

Course circulam is ok but if the syllabus is done in manner it will be more benifitial for eg we learned python in 1st sem which was easy but got lot of troubles in shifting to c after that what if we were able to learn c first must get more knowledge.

There are lot of internships available but as i am in second year and till date i have not participated in any of it but if you want for internship experiences you can try online internships which will be informed a lot by chitkara faculties

Placement Experience

Chitkara placement is good enough and placement ratio is near 90 percent with avg of 600000 rs and companies from various places visits university for placement and a student have lots of options for the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee of chitkara was 100000 when i took admission and hostel fee is 72000 now and there is no scholarship awarded in chitkara. One main rule to get admission is you must have give jee main to take admission in be cse(no knowledge about other streams)

Campus Life

Campus life is really amazing. All the events held here are awesome and if you find amazing friends they can make your campus life more amazing . Lot of film stars came here to entertain us . Have a lot of motivational sessions and much more. Campus life is really amazing

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee as already told is 72000 for attach washroom 4 seated room and is well designed and one can easily be habited to it. If we face any issue wardens are always by our side to help us and resolve our issue as soon as possible

Faculty

Faculty members we have got till date all gave their best in teaching and most of things faculty teaches is understoodable and moreover we get practical knowledge of everything so that we can learn things in better manner and faculties are always ready to help us in things we feel difficulties in.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
