The curriculum is comprehensive. The core papers cover all the major areas of psychology and the electives provide a good opportunity to learn about upcoming areas in the field. This curriculum does not prepare the students for practically applying concepts or working in the field. However, it provides a good coverage of all important topics required to prepare well for competitive exams for Masters degree.

The tuition fee for the current batch is 25,500 per year. There are some scholarship and prizes given to outstanding students from all three years. Ramanujan scholarship is provided to Outstanding 1st year and 2nd year student with an amount of Rs. 1500 per month. For outstanding 3rd year student, Ramanujan Ratan Award is provided with an amount of Rs. 20,000.

The campus life is very happening. Usually, the annual fest, departmental fests and society fests start around January end and continue till March end. The fests are vibrant. However, they are usually not as huge as those of North and South campus. Apart from fests, the college also hosts Diwali mela and Dandiya/Garba events. The library is well equipped with all standard books of Psychology, which are easily accessible. All the societies are completely student run providing a great opportunity to develop leadership abilities and hone their skills and talents.

During the 2019 batch admissions, Delhi University considered class 12 marks for admission. The cut off in that year was 95% and 1% relaxation was provided to women candidates. The admission process had to be completed offline at the Department of Applied Psychology, Ramanujan college. Now, Delhi University takes admissions through CUET UG

The faculty is very approachable. They are always ready to guide students and give them time to discuss various matters. Classes are usually pretty engaging involving a lot of discussion. Students are given a chance to fully participate in the classes. All the faculty members are well qualified. Their insights for research work are very useful.
