What Students Say

Likes

There are a lot of things to say about karunya. First of about the climate ,its not that bad or that good . In the winter season the place is very nice . The first year ground is good place for evening walks.
If we are talking about food ,there are separate mess for students .For example ,kerala mess ,south mess ,andhra mess, north mess and nri mess.
When it comes to ragging the faculty will protect us .We don't have to fear any body .First year ,Second year ,Third year and fourth are separated from each other. So we don't have to fear anybody.

Dislikes

Comparing to other colleges the freedom is little lesser. It will take more than one hour to reach the coimbatore town.there is no malll near the college
The fees is around three lakh and sixty thousand per year .That is quiet big for an average family .That is one of the main disadvantage of this college
Some times the climate is so bad .I n summer season the climate is very hot during afternoon it will be like a steam bath . In monsoon season we can,t play any games

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

First of those who studied from this college near my house are very succesfull . That was one of the main reason I choose Karunya .The course I chose is B.tech in computer science and engineering (artificial engineering and machine learning). In every semester they will teach us different programming languages. In every semester we will have different types of projects for different types of subjects .The course curriclum is pserfect , there is no need of improvement. The exams are conducts as follows, three internals first internal as MCQ,thesecond internal as written exam, the third internal as projects and after all this we will have sem exams .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 139250 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of internships process in karunya .Lately ,I have done an internship octanet services and pvt ltd. Getting a internship is pretty easy in karunya university. The ctc will give us certain tasks to complete if we join there.

Placement Experience

The average package in karunya is around six to seven lakhs per annum .But a guy got 5 lakh per month which is one of the highest package a student got in karunya university . Intel ,IBM ,Amazon are one of the major companies that come to karunya.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee in karunya is karunya is pretty high if you don't have a scholarship .It is around one lakh and eighty three thousand per semester .This fee includes hostel fees , mess fees and tuition fees. There are several scholarship in karunya . For the students who have 80%,90%and 95%.I have gone for lots of workshops.

Campus Life

The library is at the center of the university .There are two floors in the library. There are tons of books in karunya library. We have advanced technological provisions in the class rooms .There are even scholarships for students who are good in sports .

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Four seaters rooms available in the hostel. If you want two seater or a single you should wait for one year .The meals are very satisfying in the mess .There are differnt types of messes in karunya.andhra mess ,kerala mess ,south mess, north mess ,NRI mess. You can register after you came here.Renting is not alllowed

Hostel Fee: INR 15950 per year

Admission

You should atleast have a seventy percentage to get admissions easily .If you search in online you can find the website to fill the application form .If you prefer to pay fees here in karunya you can come here and pay in the admissions office. The first intternal is multiple choice questions which is easy, the second exams are written exams it is little tough the third internal is projects which are pretty tough.

The faculty in karunya are very good faculty .when it comes to classes, the classes are very good .For a group of twenty students there will be a mentor .The faculties are very supportive .From second year onwards we can choose faculty who we like .Most of the faculties including the mentors are phd holders .The faclties will conduct online classes. They will show us the correct way to do our courses. From the second year onwards they will start placement training. They will help us to get placements easily

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career

i did not apply to any other colleges because genetic engineering was my dream and karunya was the only college providing such course for affordable and regular fee type. I chose this college over any other college because the research hub in my college is so vast and the collaborations with all the high research heads in India had me hooked up fo this course. I did not recieve rejection from any other college as karunya was my one and only option. The admission process was so neat and simple as they have a admission faculties for the specific specilization you are applying to and the process is too simple and easy. eligibility is 12th grade pass out batch and karunya has entrance exams for btech/bsc admissions called the KEE and for management courses there is KMAT where you write and exam and avail scholarships from the scores you obtained. There is no cutoffs requirement for the admission as the process is simple and is guided by the admission staff....Read More
