I loved the cultural exposure in the university and the opportunities to excell in your skills
I also loved the NCC facility in the university

Dislikes

Poor Management of classes and schedules . Lack of discipline
I didn't liked the overcrowding due to which classes gets dismissed infact the classes shifts towards online platform
There's no placement opportunities in my course

Course Curriculum Overview

Exposure to my course is great. All the Psychology concepts are taught semester to semester. Focusing on the deep aspect of the topic . The practicals and theories are conducted and enhancing the learning abilities.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is available in the hospitals for the psychiatry department More over its based in ngos . There is no stipend provided in my course as far you have completed your masters . I was provided internship in an ngo where I have done counselling over 100 under privileged children.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is quite affordable. 60,000 per year (according to 2022) Debarred fees is 2300 Scholarships are provided to students infact As such i haven't came across any campus employment so far Hostel fees is 1,20,000

Campus Life

My experience was awesome. I was part of the galgotias dance crew , the cultural club of the university I have experience of dancing with the stars As well as many events. Student council is run by completely students and there is no involvement of any facilities. It's a platform for development of skills and enhancement of cohessivness. Learning to work with groups. The sports exposure is awesome. Campus provides a enermous space for cricket, basketball,volleyball. There are 20 clubs related to skills and interests of students. Overall the campus life is great at galgotias university

Admission

Admission process was quite good, it was same day process. Eligibility was 12 pass and 80 marks scored. Application forms are easily available on the website Reservation is available Examination level is medium .all the concepts related questions prevails. Improvement is required in the management of the admission cell.

Faculty

Faculties are brilliant. They are highly educated probably pursuing or completed with their PHDs. They have lots of experiences and exposures. They reach effectively and provides notes infact . All of the concepts are made clear with effective learning using technologies like presentations . After every lecture students are asked to present and explain on any of the topic .this helps to develop skills infact

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Our curriculum is Industry oriented which includes academic as well as practical learning.
Our college conducted regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures by media professionals.
Experienced and supportive faculty members. All teachers are approachable and provide personal guidance.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

THE OXFORD OF THE EAST

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. Great learning environment with modern facilities and campus life
