Entrance Preview

I came as lateral entry after diploma and I had entry because my cut off was more than 70. Normally donations are taken for admissions though they have there own exam also and if you are under AIEEE list then also you can get admission. The process is not very hectic if you aware of the process. Students are there to help you but be aware as they may ask for money.

Course Curriculum Overview

Average curriculum in my time, about recent I have not much idea.maths is fine with normal engineering pattern. Other subjects are same like normal engineering colleges. In last semester you do have some exciting subjects that were introduced in our times.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel as 3/5 and food as 3/5. I have just stayed one year. The food was average .Few days you do get good food but normal days it's just like any other hostel food.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Exam Structure

It's decent pattern like other colleges. You have 3 hours and 40 pages to vomit what you have learnt in last 6 months. The correct pattern is very strange as I never understood the weigthage they would have selected . It all depends upon your luck and the staff who is correcting your paper.

Faculty

Few are good, some are average and others are M.tech students as faculty. Only few are capable enough to give you depth knowledge and help you in research work. In our time our asst hod madam and few other mam were good.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
