All about Dibrugarh University, Assam

Areas of improvement are the quality of classrooms. As for the BCA course which is technology-driven we need classrooms with smartboards which is lacking now. Otherwise, it's perfect. Also, the syllabus is updated but not that much for the real-world applications.

The year-wise fee is 30000, the odd semester fee is 17000 and the even semester is 13000, the admission fee is 16000, and extra charges for the lab fee and exam fees that we have to pay before every semester exam. There are scholarships like Ishan Uday and Fee-waiver is also applicable to students.

Annual festivals include Varsity Week and the Anazori event of our center: CCSA. The range of books in the library can vary and has a variety of books from almost all the departments of Dibrugarh University, I'm quite happy with my experience in the DU library.

My hostel which was Amal Prabha Das Chatri Nivas of Dibrugarh University is one of the highest facilities Hostel of Dibrugarh University and has everything a student requires for a good comfortable student life, it also has study halls and a good environment for study the only issue is the quality of food.

I'm currently applying to Cotton University and ASTU, but my admission is not yet confirmed. I chose these colleges over others because of their affordable and reputation. I recently got rejected from Cotton University because of a reservation. I had good ranks but I didn't have an OBC, or NCL certificate. Which is why I didn't get addmission but I'll try it in the second counseling of Cotton University

Faculties are usually very approachable and friendly and have good knowledge about the subjects they are teaching, the course structure is also very organised. There are 6 semester with pre exams which are quite toughter, many students tend to fail the exams.
