Course Curriculum Overview
Every staff is teaching both in English and Tamil. The syllabus is huge for University and it is simple for autonomous college. Exams are held per month of time period.The Staff are allocated to their respective departments only. The question papers are framed Directly by the COE .
Internships Opportunities
Students have to choose the domain and company for the internship they are going. Should get a approval letter from the company.The HOD will contact the company and mail them the interest of students for internship in their company. If the request is accepted and the approval letter is sent from the company means then only the students can go for that company. Otherwise should look for some other companies. The project must be done in the final year to clear the progress norms. Then only degree will be given to students.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements in their 5th semester itself. Placement activities and practices will be given to students from the 5th semester. Students gets placed based on their skills and interest. The highest package will be 2.5 LPA. 80% of students got placed in their field related companies. The students who are willing to pursue higher studies will be omitted from placement. They won't involve in any of these activities.

Campus Life
Cultural Event names Astra is celebrated for two days of every year. The students can wear cultural dress like saree, Dhoti etc in these days. Along that annual day is also celebrated. And the hostel day for hostelers. The college organized various cultural events that is, 40+ events are performed. Clubs also organised for each department specifically.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are available in 3 categories. They are rooms with attached restrooms, rooms with non attached restrooms and additional block.The fee structure varies according to the room. And the room is allocated based on the amount that we pay for hostel after joining the college. Every year registration fees of Rs.500 is collected and Rs. 5000 will be increased every year. Food is satisfactory and maximum 6 members will be there in a room.
Admission
Actually I first applied for paramedical course. But my cut off marks was not enough. So I opted for Engineering. I joined this college by Supplementary Counselling. The admission fees was Rs. 8000. The eligibility is 60% Marks should be scored in 12th standard.
Faculty
The institution provides various courses. It has Engineering Courses, Polytechnic Courses,Pharma courses, Allied health and science, Arts and science for women. There are about 8000 students are studying at Paavai Institutions at various fields. There are 3 internal exams calculated for 40 marks and end semester examination calculated for 60 marks per semester. Each subject is relevant to the department from 2nd year. General subjects only in the first year and it is common for all departments.
