Likes

I like the college environment tooo much.
Canteens ate available for snacks and proper fooding.
Place to place basketball, volleyball and many more games.

Dislikes

Location of this college is not good. Parking is not proper.
Not that much big playing ground os available for sports like cricket or football.
Overall the college is food only not that much problems.

Actually my uncle suggested me this college because he aslo studied from this college and now he's working in MNCs. I studied Electronics and communication and in this branch all the faculties are good than other branches. After every one month one internal they take and end of the semester they take on lab internal.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After finishing six semester exams you'll get internship offer from college like they'll suggest you so many good companies foe internship. Mostly the company will give you 10k stipend max to max. Machine learning data science and many more options available for CSE, ECE and ISE students. For mechanical and civil also options are there.

Placement Experience

Placements in this college is good good. Highest package was 2400000 for one computer science student. Companies like tech Mahindra, cap Gemini, pyrox and many more comes to take the students. If you see overall percentage of students got placed is above 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year i paid 95000. Tution fees is some 80000 and 15000 for some extra University fees. All fees like student development program, lab fees are included in this only. Scholarships are available for students of Karnataka. Some of my local friends paid on 20000 per year fees included everything.

Campus Life

As i took admission during corona time so my first year was mostly online. First semester exam i gave and got promoted in second semester. A good library is available and a large collection of books are available in Library. Faculties use projector or smart board tv for classes. Many students run social groups are available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is inside the campus only. Proper 2 sharing rooms are available. 3 time foods and evening snacks are available. Simple procedure for getting admission in hostel just sign paper and you have to follow the rules. Food quality is good only.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

As i told before also that my uncle suggested me this college. Getting admission is not a big deal. If you are coming through kcet they you'll get scholarship also. You can get admission through management quota also. You just have to get 45% in PCM in 12.

Faculty

4.5

College faculties are very qualified. All the faculties are ready for students help at any time. Total of 3 internal and one final semester exam. Semester exam is done via University. College marking scheme is like just passing marks. But semester exam marking scheme is good. Of questions is tough then cheking is easy and vice versa.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
