- The academic phase is very less as it is a government college. Everyone can afford this but for this you have to clear wbge or glad with a good rank
- The labs are fully equipped with equipments and library also as sufficient books
- The professors are very humble and teach very well
Dislikes
- No hostel for 1st 2nd 3rd year students. Only 4th year students have hostel
- College is little bit far from main road you have to work 8 to 10 minutes to reach college
- The infrastructure could be better college is new but looks very old
Course Curriculum Overview
I am an electrical engineering student in this college and this is the hardest branch among all the branches of Engineering but if you have interest in this field you will enjoy this course I am a lateral student and in diploma also I have electrical engineering you have a plenty of career opportunities after b.tech in electrical Engineering in my college the department is very good faculties are experience and their teachers the subjects exams are semester waste in one year two semester there are four internal every semester
Internships Opportunities
Tata Infosys Wipro Amazon detrolite coding Ninja gibs as the opportunity to do internship with them internship opportunities are available with IIT is also but as a face at I don't know about the stipend amount most of work is it best for non It students there are less chance of internship available from college you have to find your own
Placement Experience
As the college is new and I am a 2nd year letter student I have not much idea about placements but the placement is average TP cell is very much active to improve campus placement but the academic system is very good so students get job easily even without campus placement I came to know from one of my senior that 7 lakhs per anum is the highest package from the college I plan to give GATE exam after getting my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for electrical engineering is 6000. Library cause on face rs 2000 and total admission fee is 8800 for the first semester. Electronics and computer science branches have admission fees. Aap per semester they have to pay 6000 per semester. Svmcm and oasis is available for all the students.
Campus Life
There are so much annual and technical festival held in our college like pressure will come annual cultural fest take fest teachers day and many more generally annual fest held in April and freshers will come in February library has sufficient books for every department and it is old maintened classrooms are well lighted sufficient fans and ACS and every room has projectors badminton cricket football basketball all the playing grounds and available there are also music dance photography recitation debate take drama it's a clubs in our college which gives us more exposure to students
Admission
You have to clear WBJEE or Jeelet exam to get admission. As it is a government college it needs a good rank for CSE department you have to score 6000 to 800 rank in sylhet and in wbj 3000 to 4000 rank is sufficient to get admission. Faculty
The faculty members are so much humble and teach all the things with very great approach there are sufficient faculty for every department the faculty to student ratio is 1:8 per department as they are 60 students for a free branch for every year they provide knowledge as well as if to students students can interact with them whenever they want and they are very much helpful and humble to students overall all the faculties are very good
