Course Curriculum Overview

Vit vellore curriculum is comprehensive as well as relevant , with industry aligned courses and hands on lab features that prepares students for real world applications. However more practice projects and indisciplinary courses woule enhance it.

Internships Opportunities

The interships begun from the fifth semester itself. Marquee companies come in first round over stipend around ?1,00,000 per month with a CTC of above ?20 lakhs. Followed by round 2 companies called super-dream with stipend around ?50,000 and CTC between 10-20 lakhs.

Placement Experience

In VIT students become eligible for placements from seventh (7th) semester ownwards. Many great companies like amazon, good , microsoft come here and a total of 6000+ offers are made annually. Highest package is ?80 lakh and average goes around ?9.95 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

221000 in the first year. 2,06,000 im the year second to fourth. Total 8,49,000. These do not include hostel fees. As a hosteller you have to pay extra. Scholarships include GV merit (100% waiver) and state toppers (50% waiver). Fees may vary over the years

Campus Life

Vit vellores campus life is vibrant, with college fest like gravitas(sept) and Riviera(feb). The library is full stacked with books and jouranls. Modern classrooms , amazing sports facilities as well as a number of club oppurtunities is an amazing highlight.

Admission

I chose VIT vellore over SRM and Manipal dur to it placement records as well as industrial based curriculum. I missed my BITS Pilani due ti slightly low BITSTAT score. VIT requires 60% in PCM as well a good VITEE rank

Faculty

Vit vellore boasts a 1:15 student is to faculty ratio, with apprachable, with highly qualified professors Dr. R Ramanathan (CSE) is well liked for his clear teaching of complex topics. Exams are moderate , with a continous assessment pattern. Digital assignments and quiz are also conducted on regular basis.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
