I like that the faculty of my college is very good and the Teachers of my college is very helpful they also give notes for our exams
I like the position of the college because I can go to the college with bus or train

•when I was a child my dream was to be a lawyer because only lawyers can protect anybody from legal risk • I feel that I can prepare myself or the study • there should be a specific book related to Calcutta University BA LLB 5 year course syllabus because there are many books in the market that are not matching with the syllabus • they say that the timing of exam from end of semester is 6 months but we get only for to 5 months to study the subjects of a semester so for the even semester it is difficult to us to study

• The year wise fees is 55000 that I'm paying every year as I am studying in a private college under Calcutta University for BA LLB 5 years course • the total tution fees of 5 years course is 2.75 lakh, the caution fees is 5000, the registration fees is 400 and the administration fees is 20000 and the exam fees for admit card is 250 • the fees of my batchmates are same because they are studying in my college. • SVMCM scholarship is available by the government of West Bengal for the students who get at least 60% of marks in a year means in 2 semester result

Campus Life

• The annual festival that is called freshers event for the new joining first semester student of college that is Aloha • there is a huge stock in the library of my college of books of many writers • there are speakers in the classroom by which the teachers can teach us using the mic connected with the speakers and we can hear every words • the college offers cricket and football tournaments every year in the month of November as an extra curricular activities

Admission

• I applied for SDLC BBLC SLC GSL and I got GSL that means George School of Law. I choose this college over others because this college has very good faculty and the Teachers of the college is very helpful and the Teachers of the college is very helpful. The communication of this college is very good to me. • I got the college by counselling of Calcutta University • fastly Calcutta University for the merit list using the HS result of the students who applied for BA LLB 5 Year course under Calcutta University and they started counselling process for which we got colleges. The eligibility to get the college is one have to be passed in HS exam

• I feel that my college faculties very good they are very helpful they give notes for our external and internal exams they give us suggestion for the external exams • I like Priyanka ma'am anwesha ma'am aishi ma'am Riddhi sir because they are very kind in nature • I did not like and kaustav sir and Anmol sir because they are very rude to students • there are 9 Semester and total 41 subjects to give exam. There are some students every semester who cannot get at least a minimum marks to pass

My honest experience at college.

Likes

The fees structure was affordable compared to many other colleges
Various extra curricular activities, cultural events, and competition were organized through out the year

Dislikes

Communication regarding important updates and procedures was sometimes unclear
Administrative processes were often very time consuming, and students had to wait a long time for approvals and documentation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant and covered the fundamental concepts, but it could benefit from more practical learning and industry exposure. Exams were conducted regularly, and the difficulty level was moderate.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Likes

Teachers and faculties are very supportive, I like the style how they use day to day life examples to solve complex things.
Faculties are highly educated they support us at not only campus but also outside of campus life.
I got many internship opportunities because of the college, coz with many facilities internship support is also in their list.

Dislikes

Sometimes buses was late, I often waited on the bus stop so it was late.
Classes has AC, some people like AC and some don't I do not like AC.
Canteen tea, I think they don't know how to make tea

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

Reasons to study in Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta

Likes

The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced who provide quality education and guide in practical aspects of life.
The college is equipped with basic infrastructure including library, seminar halls and computer labs that help students in their academic pursuits.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is an ever evolving subject and the college keeps the cirriculuam updated from time to time to equip students with contemporaray developments. The college is located in close proximity to various legal institutions such as Calcutta High Court which provide opportunities for internships, training and exposure real world proceedings.

Jalpaiguri Law College- a small review

Likes

The teachers and principal were extremely helpful amd insightful
The library and the e-library were well equipped
The moot court discussion were well rehearsed

Dislikes

It is a Small college; no campus as such
The students are very much into politics

I was always intrested in societal issues and how to deal with the social demons and that why i choose law as my course subjects The course teaches you the tmrules towards the course of society. It teachers us every nooks and cracks of the society and how to deal with them The course will teach you the bookish values and is completely oblivious towards the real life outside the books the practical is different when it comes to working in courts. There are internships but until you enter into the world of law and practice on your own you won't get a grasp of any understanding One year ending exams with 2 practical papers and the difficulty level depends on the depth of the student

Taking admission in this university was hassle-free as all the administrative staff were really very polite and provided the best assistance on their part
They claimed to have impressive internships and placements for the students.
The infrastructure, campus amenities and learning facilities are just average. They need to work alot on every aspect of their development.

Dislikes

I didn't like the kind of faculty they have hired, they cannot speak proper English, they don't dress formally and behave so uncultured and informal. They are mean and non- assisting towards the students.
Moreover, the professors they fail to cover the syllabus and prefer quantity based answer over quality. They provide pathetic mentorship and doesn't help the students to improve their credentials for the future pursuits.
They compel the students to witness counterproductive seminars and sessions. They need to meditate on the kind of guests they are calling to conduct their events, the guest should be worthwhile listening.listening

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law opens the door to several job prospects and my dream as a child to be a part of the judiciary has influenced me to choose the course. The curriculum prepares definitely prepares me for higher legal studies and have a strong foundation in legal knowledge. SNU needs to improve the quality of faculty they have and there's a long way to improvement. End semester exams are held over a period of every 4-5 months, they conduct MSA in between each semester. The set the papers really tough.

Department of Law - The Best Law College In West Bengal

Likes

Hazra Law College: Overall structure and ambience of the college. I didn't expect it to be this good since the Google reviews suggested otherwise.
Faculty: The faculty is fantastic. Professors are understanding and very professional. They're good when it comes to thie respective subjects.

Dislikes

Office: It is best to try to avoid the office because of the unreasonable amount of time taken to resolve queries/obtaining signatures is frustrating

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law as a course has developed throughout the years and there are only a few shortcomings in the studying aspect of it. Law, in a broad sense, can be applied to almost each and every problems that citizens of India face, be it corporate law, criminal, civil law. In an even broader sense, there is Constitutional law. A major fault in the teaching and course is the excessive teaching of landmark judgements and lesser number of moot courts which in practice might land young lawyers in trouble coming from the judiciary since they're just too much aware of different landmark judgements but not the cases/context behind it. Mainly, four exams are held which concern the actual marks- Internals and Externals. First internal and external is typically held on January or February and Second internal and external during July or August.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue law so I chose this course. Government college provides the best faculty and my college takes regular students to attend various seminars in WBNUJS or any such seminar Our College have LLM-completed teachers, some are PHD holder as well. The exam happens every six months. It's easy to pass only if you study properly but CU check copies strictly, it's hard to get more than 90.

Perfect campus for economics student

Admission process are very simple. Generally entrance exam was conducted for admission but I took admission just after COVID so I didn't give any entrance exam. But cutt off was very high. At least 70 percent marks in graduation are mandatory to take admission in this university on the merit basis. Application form are generally found on University official website in August.
