Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus of the university.
It provide free and affordable treatment to students in its own medical department.
The faculty members are so cooperative and have good teaching methods.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria, which is 90 percent.
Can't utilise the time to develop soft skill, due to assignments, practical,90 attendance and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview

The era of developing technology influenced me to indulge in it to explore the technology. That's why I took admission in this course. The first year of the college went in waste due to old curriculum syllabus. The first year syllabus should be more profient to the student so that they become more interested.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities available in the college is quite low. But it provide some internship for the students having cgpa more than8.5. It has project in its curriculum, it provide guide to students to make the projects.

Placement Experience

For internship the fifth semester are eligible, but for placement seventh semester is required. Some of the popular company that visited the campus for placement aretcs, cognizant, tech Mahindra, PepsiCo, Accenture,Infosys, ibm, etc. Highest package of the college is 42lpa of 2024 while the average package is 5lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission the fee was almost Rs156000 for the first year. Registration fee for the admission was Rs1200. In the case of backlog in any semester the fee is Rs 2000 to reappear in the exam. Civil: Rs 525000 Electrical: Rs 560000 The fee is increasing year by year, currently the whole fee for Computer science and Engineering is Rs 68000

Campus Life

The university host universum every year, in which students of other colleges or universities took part according to their skill. There is a Library in the campus which provide all categories of book related to each department. There are many clubs, like robotronic, gdsc, alpha tech, etc.

Admission

I visited some colleges but I chooses this. The main reason is that it is an university which provide a good campus to get more socialise to other students which are from different departments like BCA, BBA, LLB, Agriculture, Dental, Medical, Btech,etc. And the course fee is also affordable for me and also the placement ratio was good.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is quite good. That is about 1:65. There are so supportive and approachable. Ther are two sessional test and one final exam in a semester. Each sessional test cover two out of four unit of each subject. While semester cover whole syllabus.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - worth it in the big 26 ?

Likes

The variety of food, books and lush green gardens
The quiet and pleasant places carved feels like home
No need to rush things the warmth in the air and the affordable rates

Dislikes

Due to rural surroundings often things like traffic jams and riots happen
Langauge barriers do occur sometimes but its okay now
Attendance criteria is strict and on-off campus roaming is a little hard

Placement Experience:

Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job

Campus is very big and many things to explore
We have Good infrastructure and sports grounds
There are many canteens and varieties of food available

Location is not on road it is back side of a village
College is till 5 pm in evening and it gets very hectic

The curiculam is quite good and classes are placed accordingly we have good break in between and its quite enjoyable to attend college regularly The fest and programs are amazing it is good for a student

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
