Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In any type of course in first 2 or 3 semesters its just a revisin of what we have done in 11th and 12th. The actual and importsnt subjects always starts from 4th semester or so on. Thats when a student should start considering his subjects very seriously and start to score good gpas

Internships Opportunities

4

So internships are offered all the way from 5th sem to 8th sem and they also pay really good, all big tech companies are around reva, ranging from 30k to 40k per month and chances of full time are based on the performance of a candidate

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are really good there is a separate division for our placements that are being handled and it is called Career Development Centre they are doing a really great job as of now because when it comes to opportunities with higher packages which student would let it go, so the CDC makes it possible for us to access those opportunities easily The highest packages we had this year was 40 to 50CTC Lowest was : 8CTC average : 10CTC

Fees and Financial Aid

KCET-Karnataka Common Entrance Exam: Fee: Rs.90,000 + Rs.15,000(University and Lab fees) = Rs. 1,05,000(Total fee) Per year. COMEDK-UGET: Rs.2,21,963(includes University and Lab fee) Per year Management: Rs. 3,50,000(Includes University and Lab fee) Per year

Campus Life

4.5

As i mentioned earlier there are many fests going on so the involement of clubs is very precious there are wide range of clubs one can participate and indulge and improve their talents, coming to infrastructure it is world class infrastructure they provide us with everything

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel is pretty neat with attached bathrooms in every room since i left hostel the last time i paid was 1,40,000 for a four sharing room and one should book their room before hand as in before a year, also the food is really good they offer 4 meals a day.

Admission

The main reason I chose this college is because it has good tie ups with top german, US, UK universities and i would love to pursuee my masters from one of the too universities of the world. They also offer summer internships which is one really good thing about this college. Admission process is really very smooth just show in the documents required during the process of admission and you will be a Part of Reva University

Faculty

3

So there are really good faculties and then there are really bad faculties, lets start with good faculties they have really good knowledge to share to the students and students also really enjoy them and they show a lot of patience in things and they do not simply put you off if you ever went to ask doubt. Where as the some faculties are vice versa got no knowledge they just read a book n come and then no patience. Coming to the examination Structure So we have 8 semester in Engineering in 1 semester Internal 1 : 30 marks scaled downed to 15 Internal 2 : 30 marks scaled downed to 15 Assignment 1 : 20 marks scaler downed to 10 Assignment 2 : 20 marks scaled downed to 10 Total internal marks : 50 ( considering assignments and internals) Semester end : 100 marks scaled down to 50 Over marks: Internals(50) + semester end (50) = 100 And coming to labs they also follow almost same structure but they are little bit easy to study Marking schemes are strict most of the times.

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no exam as such for management only if you are coming through government seats or non local seats you need to gove exams like CET, COMEDK and get a really good rank to get into a college like this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
