The course is very vast and doing this course develops the student . It includes financial accounts , micro and macro economics , business laws , business management , business communication , English . This curriculum prepares you for real world applications . The exams held are mid-semester and semesters. There are 2 semesters in a year . Areas of improvement can be related to more practical applications can be taught rather than theoretical applications .

The college provides internship opportunities which are important for the holistic development of the students . The summer internship that the college provides is a compulsory intership that all students must do . This compulsory thing will enforce thee students to do the internship and they will get to learn new new things. The companies that came were swiggy Zomato Aditya Birla group Reliance Industries adani group tata sun pharmaceuticals Deloitte Google KPMG Hero . These companies provide pre-placement offers and internship for the students . This year the placement and internship program was held for 7 days and we saw 600 students being participated and over 100+ internships being offered . The roles were of the managerial roles mainly . Manager in different different fields for the development of the students .

The undergraduate placements of this college is good like the placements range from 6-8lakhs and the students are eligible for placements after the third year . The college provides placements . Reputed companies like earnest and young , Deloitte , KPMG, Google , Honda, hero , Mahindra , tata , reliance , adani and many other reputed companies . Highest package is 21 lakhs and lowest is 4 lakhs and the average being 7lakhs . Around 80% students get placed every year . The college also proved internship opportunities like the summer internship etc .

The exact fees structure for the bcom program may vary slightly each year . The fees includes the components such as TUITION FEES ; ADDMISSION FEES ; EXAMINATION FEES ; MISCELLANEOUS FEES ; LABORATORY FEES; ECT. However fees are in the range of 80000-90000 for the first year for the morning batch because this batch is subsidised by the west bengal government and the fees of the evening batch ranges between 1.5lakh - 1.6 lakh . THE COLLEGE ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS BASED ON MERIT ; ECONOMIVAL WEAKER SECTIONS ETC .

Xavier's is known for its discipline and there are not too many events but there are annual fests which are very famous . Insignia the biggest fest of East India is one of the fest of Xavier's . The best and famous fest XAVOTSAV which is very popular is the main annual fest in which last year SAMAY RAINA was called . There are many socities and clubs . The top society for commerce is the XAVIERS COMMERCE SOCIETY which is working since 18 years . Other socities include the marketing society , the finance society , the placement cell , the consulting club , the theatre society etc

I chose this college because of the exposure I get in this college is way too much and next level . I don't think any other college can give this much exposure . I have cute ipmat jipmat these entrance exams and I also got shortlisted for iim ranchi but I didn't go because XAVIER'S IS A BRAND and it holds a prestige because of its discipline . For bcom Xavier's considers the marks of class 12th boards , the cutoffs of which are very high . First list cutoff goes 93%ish and last list goes 88ish . The cutoffs are less for reserved categories.

The faculty members are the academic staff of the college . They are responsible for teaching courses and conducting research The faculty members are way too experienced of this college . The knowledge that they possess is very helpful for the training and holistic development of the students .
