Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is very good as it prepares very well for the outside world and jobs. It makes you prepare yourself over all from soft skills, hard skills, team collaboration, teaching about html, ppt, wed- designing and many more which is very relevant for CSE course. CSE core gives you a idea about many languages and about Artificial Intelligence, Data structures, ciber security and many more.but the exams and works load is too much and exams are also very frequent as the duration of the course is short compared to other colleges. It's stressful but very useful at the same time

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The Interships start for 3 years, it is mandatory for us to do interships. This started from this year it self. We can do Intership from other companies too and it has 8 credits for intership. The college will provide options of company we can join for Intership

Placement Experience

3

I plan to go for masters and majority plan the same. Mostly placement are very very low and the college is trying to improve the placements by making the curriculum are strick and improving the standards for students. More companies are visiting Gitam Hyderabad but in the Vizag college majority of the companies as it is the main campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

We must play 4 lakhs a year approximately. And each year the fee grows more. There is a entrance exam before admission, during which we can get a scholarship from 15% ,25% ,50% ,75% ,90% and 100%. 15% is 50,000 per year. But for the scholarship to be valid, the categories for it is the student must have a CGPA of 8.0 or above, or the scholarship won't be valid but the student can perform well and get back the scholarship if they get 8.0 or above CGPA the coming next year. They also have merit cum need where there is a exam for the top 5%-2% for the student who topped the course, only they can attempt the exam. Each year that exam will be there, they can write it and they will receive scholarships even if they missed to write the exam in the beginning of admission. But it's not easy to be qualified for exam as the 2%-5% top students have a 9.7 CGPA and even if you have 9.4 CGPA or 9.6 you might not be qualified for the exam.Gitam is a very competitive college and also a very fun college

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of events in the campus constantly. There are many clubs and it's very fun. There are very options for out door and indoor sports as well. There is a library with three floors and annual events are super fun. We can have fun a lot in Gitam university. Majority class rooms are AC

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel food has a lot of variety and food is hygienic most of the time. The food is also good. The rooms are cleaned every 2 day. And the washrooms are cleaned twice a day. We have a elevator in the hostel. We have options of 2 memebers, 3 members , 4 members and 6 members. Per semester we have to pay 80000 for hostel with 4 people. Hostel life is good. We can go out and have to come back by 9pm for weekdays and on weekends we need permission to go out

Admission

The eligibility is you must have 60% in your board exam and you must write a entrance exam, you don't need to write other exams. Only Gitam entrance exam is enough. I rejected other colleges because Gitam was a very fun, eventful, college with good resources and very good curriculum. In Gitam there is a lot of freedom and fun. That was the main reason I got into Gitam. It has open gates, it has great environment for growth and fun

Faculty

3.5

The teacher and student ratio depends on the course, in my course the ratio is 1-65. The faculty majority are fun and others are strict. The relationship between the student and teacher depends on the teacher. Mostly they are easy to contact during the college and after college. The college provides a websites with all the pdfs and ppts required for students, the faculty only controls 50 marks which include 20 for assignment and 30 for mid exams In CSE and majority of other courses. The other 50 marks are for quizzes consists of 20 marks which mostly are online so easy to score and 30 marks for semester exams in which students must score 10 marks out of 30 marks or they fail the exam. Mid exams are moderate difficulty and semester are a little difficult but with studying, passing won't be a issues. The course curriculum is excellent, helping us to grow in other places too, like soft skills, sports, cluds, relevant subjects which are very helpful

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated regularly with topics that match current technology trends. We get enough time to complete assignments and improve our understanding. Internal assessments and presentations also help in overall learning. I feel more elective subjects can be added to give students wider career options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books
