Remarks

The good thing about this college is 1. Located in a good place, near a highway road so the transportation will be good. 2. All the required facilities are inside college like hair cut shops and cafeteria. No negative things.

Counseling and Donation

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I studied Electronics and Communication Engineering, the course is good, you can learn a lot about electronic circuits and communication devices and there will be some other course subjects also included in some semesters.

Internships Opportunities

No in my college up to my knowledge there is no internship provided. So I don't have any experience and stipend to share. But they will give monthly On Duty's to attend an external internship with some other organization.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement and job opportunities are quite good, there is a separate department for this as "Placement Cell" in my college. They will give training to the students at the time of the 5th, 6th semester and the placement will be conducted from the end of the 6th semester. The companies that recruited are Amazon, TATA, Infoview, some other BPO's.

College Events

3.5

We have many events like the Annual day, Sports day, Cultural and more. This will be great fun, especially the Annual and Cultural day. The annual day will be a grand celebration, we can invite our friends and parents. Cultural will be conducted for two days, there will be a lot of competitions, the highlighted are the Dance and Short Film. For Annual day, they will invite some special guest like cinema actor or some good speech persons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure, in my opinion, is not expensive, it's moderate. The thing I hate is they will charge something like "Other Fees" in my monthly mess bill, not for all the months but sometimes. When students we ask that, they will not provide a proper response. If some gang of students breaks something like electric bulbs in hostel wings, they will charge for all the students in that hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a scholarship of yearly Rs.8000, which is not actually provided by the college, but they help us to get from the government. Only counseling students can apply for this scholarship and we should create a Bank account (Indian Overseas Bank) in a nearby village. The scholarship form should be filled in 1st year and it should be renewed for the next 3 years.

Campus Life

1.5

Labs are really good, even they have tie up with some 3rd party organization for labs worth of Rs.1Cr. In each lab there will be a supervisor, even if the staff doesn't know something, that supervisor knows how to handle the machine or devices.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is comfortable to stay, In a room, they will allocate 4 students. But we can change rooms with our best friends or class mates. We have quite good wifi in the hostel, there is two hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. The infrastructure is not much good like other colleges which I've visited.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors students in this college are really helpful. When I join in 1st year, I got some friends in final year students, they explained to me the whole process of semesters and the way how we need to behave.

Exam Structure

The exam structure will be similar to Anna University colleges, but my college is autonomous so they have the right to evaluate the semester exam answer papers. In my opinion, it's easy to get good marks even if you use your own style of explaining the content.

Admission

I got 155 cutoff marks in 12th standard, then I went for the Anna University counseling to select this college, I thought to get Mechanical engineering, but unfortunately, the seats got over, so I selected ECE.

Faculty

4

The faculties are helpful but to be honest, it's depending on the way how you behave in the class or inside the college. Generally, the staff in my department or from other departments are really helpful.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
