Likes

The classes of our university is very good.
Their is anti-ragging policy in our university.
The teachers are also well educated,and more of them are from it sectors.

Dislikes

The girls is to boys ratio is not good at all.
Their are less events for day scholars.Mor for hostllers.
In some semester you have to maintain mire then 80 per attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

Rate of the curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is overall good .The exams are tough to pass you have to focus on self studying .But the teaching method is overall good in mid term exam you get 90min and for final 180 min.

Internships Opportunities

From 5th semester you are eligible to get internship many . The major companies are eclerx,hcl,airtel. The roles are like software engineer. The main focus of internship compnies is to see better projects and techniacl skills.

Hello. The placement rate of cse enginerring from last year is more then seventy percent students will placed.Top recuiters are hcl,infosys,tcs,eclerx and more.From sixth semester you are eligible to sit in company round.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for cse engineering in our university is 170000/yr. Their no scholarship scheme in our unuversity.The registeration fees is 1100.All my batchmates have same fees structure including sc,st,obc category.

Campus Life

The campus life is good you can play many sports like cricket,badminton,tennis,basketball etc. Their are also many events in out college. Their are lots of club like acting,dancing. Their are two libraries in our college both are well structured.

Admission

The main reason to choose this college is the beat college near me and other colleges are very far to me.I dont applied in other colleges this my first and last college wher i applied.The eligibility to take admussion in college is to get 60% marks in pcm.

Faculty

The facult -to-student ratio is 1:4.their are regular exams in our university . The marking scheme is in our university is get 40 percent marks to pass in a particular subject. Their are mcq based exam on their computer from 3rd semester.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
