Remarks

Basically, IBS was a place where we've garbage and metal. Many were garbages. But metals were there who have done their best. Mumbai is a place that can make someone and that can break someone. So we've both types of Opportunity. I've tried making one. I've built my personality in Mumbai. Choosing IBS Mumbai gave me a different Gyandeep that I was dreaming for long before.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course structure is divided into 5 portions I. e. 4 semesters and one Summer Internship of 14 weeks. The student-teacher ratio is 27:1. IBS is already popular for its case based study method. Maximum guest faculty members do this process of teaching. Regular faculty members help in concept clearing and industrial exposure.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. I've been selected in 3 companies. But I've chosen SetMyCar as a Business Development Intern. My project was on "A Study on Business Development Reconnoitering, Market Penetrating & Closing of Sales of SetMyCar." As a Business Development Intern, this internship required me to work majorly on Sales & Business Development of automobile services available in SetMyCar viz. Waterless & Ecofriendly car cleaning services and create awareness against the wastage of water in cleaning, which is available all over Mumbai and RSA (Road Side Assistance) subscriptions, which is available all over India. Adding to this, I tried my best to find the factors affecting the Brand Value, Product/Service Sales, Company Status inside the mind of the Customer, etc. by analyzing various parentheses viz. STP Analysis, SWOT Analysis, 4 P’s to 4 C’s to 4 A’s to 4O’s Analysis, Extended 7P’s of marketing Analysis, Competitor Analysis, etc.

Placement Experience

5

The placement is good. But the no. of people studying in IBS Mumbai is increasing year by year. In our batch, no. of students were 750 and due to this qualitative placement was lagged. But still average CTC was 5 Lacs and more than 140 companies took part in the placement process. Top companies like JPMC, Deloitte, HDFC, ICICI, JM Finance, Acuris, Blackrock, Naukri. Com etc came this year.

College Events

5

We've 21 clubs that cater to different purposes. Every club has a unique vision and every club arranges their own events inside the campus. Other than this we've our annual cultural fest KONFLUX. This is an institution inside the institution. Many people grow their personality here. It's an institution that can make a person who isn't eligible for the top level institution, into a good manager.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are 7.8 lakh. This is feasible. Because the average CTC that you'll get after 2 years is 5 lakh at least. So invested 7.8 lakh isn't a big amount to receive this return. This will be paid in 5 installments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Each and every bank is providing a loan to IBS. Banks like HDFC, ICICI, AXIS, KOTAK, Credilla, SBI are providing loans to IBS Mumbai aspirants. I've availed a loan from HDFC bank at 12.5 ROI. College helped me in getting this done too.

Campus Life

5

We're good at this part. All indoor games are there in IBS. Many international level players were studying during my MBA. We're going outside of Mumbai for playing too. Outdoor games like volleyball, football were also there. Special teams were there. There is a separate club that takes care of everything.

Hostel Facilities

5

The infrastructure is okay. This is due to location. Having an infrastructure in Hiranandani Knowledge Park is enough. But when we consider the practical aspects, it's a two-story building. For the next batch, they are adding another floor to it. So from next year, it would be specious. As of now, Infrastructure includes 26 Classrooms and one auditorium. After 3 months it might be increased. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and two canteens are there. One big hall is given for indoor games like table tennis, Carrom, etc. Parking space is allotted. One Computer lab is there with 50 desktops and one big library with 30000 books is also present in IBS MUMBAI. Daily 10 to 15 newspapers are subscribed for the sake of the students and to read there is a big reading room with a capacity of 100 people.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. There a strong alumni network of IBS i.e. IBSAF. This has a 40000 alumni database. Many are in a very good position. Every year alumni meet takes place in every part of India to maintain a relationship. Other than this in my current company people who are from my IBS Mumbai is in a very good position. They are actually helpful.

Exam Structure

The structure of the exam is as usual. 4 semesters and 10 class assessment tests per subject. 5 evaluations were there. 4 semesters and one for the summer internship. The final score was calculated on the basis of classroom performance. 60% was dependent on the classroom performance and rest on the final exam.

Admission

It was a 3 step process. 1. Examination all India level IBSAT 2. Post qualifying the exam, GD and PI process will be there. As per your performance, you'll get a percentile. 3. Now with your percentile, you can choose the IBS campus that you want. If you're eligible you'll be given. In GD PI 3 things were calculated for the percentile calculation with different weightage. 1. GD 30% , PI 30%, Career 40% I've scored 90 percentile and I've selected IBS Mumbai.

Faculty

5

The facilities are excellent. Maximum faculty members have a very good industrial experience. Maximum faculty members are qualified from the reputed institution like JBIMS, IIT, IIMs, XIMB, etc. The faculty student ratio is 25:1.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
