Remarks

Talking about positive remarks, the college is taking too much efforts to groom their student but it is all dependent on student how much they take. Many facilities are adopted from foreign universities which are very helpful for a student and the most important thing is that this facility is not given to any other colleges in India. When we talk about negative points the fee structure is too high, some faculties are really horrible when we go for immersion (national trip) management is not good. As they have become deemed and we are the first batch they are trying everything on us.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is too good here as they provide all facilities to groom a normal student to a professional engineer. They have introduced many concepts which are followed in foreign universities. Course-based teaching is followed. Rural immersion, National immersion, International immersion are the branches of the course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college does provide internships. As this is the second year of this college as deemed university students with B.Tech. as their course has not received any internships yet as it will be in the 3rd year of the course. But management students have received internships with an average stipend of 3500 INR.

Placement Experience

3.5

As this is the second year of this college as deemed university students with B.Tech. as their course has not received any internships yet. But previous students who were in MIT Pune got the average package of around 4.5 l.p.a. TCS, Accenture, Wipro are major recruiters

College Events

4

Many extracurricular activities are followed here all technical events, cultural programs, guests lectures, motivational movies are also shown, technical events of all the branches separately and many others. There is all college engineering sports meet every year. All these facilities help students for their proper growth and there are also mentally, technically, physically healthy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive here. The fees of this college as per 2017-18 batch is 2.6 lakh per year and for 2018-19 batch is 2.85 lakh per year this fee is including international immersion of 10 days and excluding exam fees of 2150 per trimester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Flat 50% scholarship for J&K students for all 4 years and for others it's on the basis of merit. For the first year, it's on the basis of marks of entrance exams. For second year it is on the basis of marks of all the trimesters and overall academic performance

Campus Life

4

Many extracurricular activities are followed here all technical events, cultural programs, guests lectures, motivational movies are also shown, technical events of all the branches separately and many others, labs are also well designed with the best ambiance in it. There is all college engineering sports meet every year. All these facilities help students for their proper growth and there are also mentally, technically, physically healthy.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel infrastructure is ok. Accommodation of approximately 300 boys and 300 girls are there. There is a facility of Royal hostel with some extra amount for around 200 students. Many private hostels and PG's are there near the college

Alumni/Alumna

Many alumni visit campus and also guide us in many aspects. Talking about senior they are very very helpful in all subjects to let it be studies, fun, any kind of programs like technical events, cultural events, etc.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of this college is trimester pattern. Every three months we have end semester exams with 4 subjects in each semester. As this college follows a trimester pattern we have a total of 12 trimesters in the 4-year course.

Admission

I had to fill the admission form of the college where all the basic details such as marks of 10th, 12th, entrance exams (MHT-CET and JEE) were asked and accordingly merit list was out. According to the merit number I had to visit the campus and take provisional admission with fees payment of 1st installment.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of this college is good. Some of the faculty is too good and obviously, some are not. But the majority is good. They are very helpful when required.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
