Remarks

The college life and friendship with people from different places is amazing. The administration is quite reluctant in some students problems and issues but the student council addresses the problems of the students and takes them to the administration.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and contains all the relevant information concerning the subject. It provides the best understanding of the topic. The course curriculum basic science subjects and electives, departmental core subjects and electives and also humanities subjects. It is a credit based system and the student must possess the required number of credits at the end of the course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, many companies come to the college and provide internship opportunities. The students will get internships in their third year. The stipend will be different for students of different branches. For CSE students the highest stipend is Rs.1.5 lakhs and the average stipend is around Rs.20000. Only students who are good at academics can get internships.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are very good. Almost 90 percent of students get placed every year. Students can either opt for core jobs or can pursue software jobs. The highest salary package was 40 LPA for a CSE student. Many reputed companies hire students from different branches of the college.

College Events

Every year the college organizes two fests, one in the first semester and another in the second semester. The first fest is called Technozion, which is a technical fest and one of the biggest fests in South India. About 10000 students attend the fest every year and the fest contains many interesting events to participate. The second fest is called Springspree, it is a cultural fest. There are many student clubs in the college which conducts events throughout the year. There is also the Youthfest celebrated in the name of Swami Vivekananda and a sports fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is somewhat expensive for a middle class family. The tuition fee per year will be Rs.125000 and the hostel and mess fee will be around Rs.50000 per year. However, the government provides fee remission for low-income families.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides fee remission to the students whose family income is below five lakhs. And also many private and government scholarships which a student can avail. The bank near the college which provides student loans that can be repaid after the completion of the course.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are very good. They will be on throughout the year. Various sports competitions are held frequently. The labs are not bad but equipped with all the instruments. Everyone can access the laboratories at any working hours. There are also intercollege competitions where students can participate.

Hostel Facilities

I would rate hostel infrastructure and facilities 4.5 out of 5. There are different hostels for students of different years. There is a hostel named 1.8k hostel which is the biggest hostel in Asia. There is also a separate hostel for ladies. The facilities are very good. There are both indoor and outdoor games. There are football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, tennis stadiums in the college. The academic buildings are also very good. The hostel rooms are also very spacious and comfortable.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very helpful. They provide various information regarding job opportunities and their experiences in their field of expertise. They also provide the required funds for the welfare of the students. The seniors are also helpful regarding academics and college life.

Exam Structure

The exam structure consists of two minor exams every 10 marks. And mid exams of 30 marks and end exam of 50 marks. Minor 1 will be conducted after 4 weeks after the start of the semester and minor 2 will be conducted after mid exams.

Admission

To get admission into this college every student must write the JEE MAINS examination. After intermediate, we can attempt the examination. The exam is of 360 marks and the qualification for the general category will be around 110 marks. Rank will be given based upon the marks and students have to choose their preferred college and he will alloted a college based upon his rank.

Faculty

The faculty are very friendly and welcoming. They motivate students and bring the best out of the students. Most of the faculty have completed their doctorate and have a vast knowledge of the subject. They clarify every doubt of students. They also help to choose a better career.

The placements in our campus are good . Studenta get campus placement from 4th year . The drives are conducted for them . The companies like amazon,wipro,skyde,TCS and more visit ou campus for hiring students . The companies give the offers till 10 lakh per annnum . The highest package in our college is 17 lakh per annum and lowest package is 6 lak per annum. 60 percentage of students get placed in our college every year. I plan to get a good electrical skilled job in my core after degree.
