Likes

I liked the ambience and the environment here. It's peaceful
The faculties are well expertised and are ready to help and they often test our knowledge
The campus has a gym, a supermarket for daily needs and a hospital for medical care

Dislikes

The food and the mess can be improved including the servuce
No proper transportation between the city and the college
The city is located a bit far away from the college

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has a bright future and this course is one of the course which requires continuous learning, and in this college, practical thinking is also being taught so that it becomes easier to solve problems in real life. The time period of a semester is a bit short.. that's the only room for improvement

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the course I have opted, the tuition fee comes around 200000 rupees and a total of 1,35000 for hostel and mess. The book and career development fees comes around 40000 rupees. I have no scholarship and merit

Campus Life

There are many technical clubs in this campus like game development, app development etc. it is easy to join in clubs. A lot of sport events happen here regularly like volleyball, basketball, football and cricket tournaments

Admission

I tried for SRM University Chennai, but I got admission here, it's more of the same. The admission process include a exam called SRMJEE, which is required to get into SRM. The exams are systematic and fairly done

The faculty to student ratio is kinda impressive, 1:60. The teachers are willing to improve our career and all of them are friendly. There are 3 internal exams between a semester exam and group assignments and projects are also given

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Detailed honest review of SRM

I had applied to a number of colleges including VIT, SRM, Amity, LPU, Chandigarh University and DU. I got confirmed admission from every university except DU as I didn't meet the score required to qualify for the college. I gave exams for the other college like VITEE, SRMJEEE, and a scholarship examination for Chandigarh University. I got accepted in each but I didn't go to VIT as the fees was coming too high for us to afford, as I got Category 5. I didn't choose Amity and LPU as they are known for not having a good study environment. I rejected Chandigarh University as I heard from my brother studying there that there are way too many students there and most of them aren't getting placements. So I chose SRM as it has a good study environment , isn't known for anything bad and wasnt saturated with students. I wrote the SRMJEEE exam and got qualified for 40% scholarship in SRMIST tiruchirappalli after getting a rank of 1901. Cutoff for getting CSE in SRMIST tiruchirappalli is about 12000 in SRMJEEE....Read More

I applied for JIIT-Noida, SNU Noida but due to non preferrable branches i was getting i opted out and thought of giving SRMJEEE. No i didn't got rejected from the above mentioned colleges, just because i was not getting the desired branch , i left. Admission procedure of my college includes, applying either directly with management quota and reserve a seat or take part in SRMJEEE ,secure a rank, get a scholarship and reserve your seat.
