Remarks

I am happy with my college.. just a bit unhappy with the hefty fees.. if MIT reduces fees I will be very happy but it is highly unlikely to happen. I also expect our International study tour which is going to happen in the 3rd year goes well and we get to learn many things from abroad universities.

Entrance Preview

Entrance Exam, Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually, as compared to other Pune universities who have semester patterns .. we in MIT WPU have trimester pattern.. which I personally think is much better because we have 4 subjects to study in every Semester.. and due to more semesters we are more actively studying. We have two exams in a trimester one is the midterm and the other the end term. The midterm is of 15 20 marks End term is of 50 marks Remaining internal marks are considered according to the practical exams and MCQ tests.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in the second year of the Undergraduate degree program I don't know much about the placements and stuff.. but looking at our previous batches.. it Seems like there are good placements over here. Yes, we do have internships from our college in the 3rd and Final Year. I don't know about the stipend and all. But as been told in our college we will be having few options to choose from.. according to our interests while choosing Internships.

College Events

5

There are a plethora of events and fests celebrated in and around our college. There is the Aarohan Fest which is the biggest cultural fest in Pune where the college's from all over India participate. There's Summit which is the National Level Sports Fest where there are competitions of around 14 different sports. Then there's texephr which is the technical fest of MIT. where all technical quests and competitions are held. Other fests are also present like Nirmitee, Chemovision etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, our fees are way too expensive. it's 2.6 lakhs per year excluding exam fees and hostel fees. Yes, we receive many facilities which other colleges can't even think of but still, I think it's expensive and there should be a bit reduction in fees. We can pay the fees in either 2 installments(1,50,000+1,10,000) or in single installment.(2,60,000)

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about the loan facility but it's present in our college. About Scholarships. Yes we do have scholarships in our college but they are only based on the Merit .. like the top 10 rankers get 95K scholarships every year

Campus Life

5

We have many extracurricular activities not just normal ones like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, and basketball, but also like Rowing, Swimming, table tennis, lawn tennis, carrom and many more. All the labs are well maintained with good PCs and other components.

Alumni/Alumna

Till now I didn't have had many experiences with my seniors or any other alumnus but.. they seem to be good. Many Alumni are now successful in different fields in India as well as Abroad... Many MIT passouts are now studying in amazing universities like IIM IITs and also in brown universities.

Admission

As I stay in Pune and I wanted to study in Pune itself I was searching for a good Engineering college in Pune which has a merit list according to JEE marks too. As my CET score wasn't up to mark. So when I got to know about MIT, I visited the college, filled the form acc to JEE score and waited for the merit List.. and when the merit list came.. my name was present. So I paid 50k and booked my admission.

Faculty

4.5

As I have many friends in other colleges too .. I can proudly say that we have amazing teachers over here.. all with good degrees and are also very knowledgeable. Many teachers are experienced with 15 20 years of teaching and younger teachers are either pursuing PhDs or just completed them

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
