Likes

Campus is pretty good not so big but not so small , overall buildings and seminar halls are nice of ARSD college
It's ranked 5 NIRF so I am happy that we got into a college with good placement and teachers
We have Nescafe, Mother dairy and our canteen is pretty affordable and provides decent food , courts and gym are also fine

Dislikes

Commerce department, there's so much humidity in the classes of commerce department
We can't even sit for one hour it becomes so humid
And the politics in college and the double faceted people who come and ask for votes and then will dissapear

I chose Bcom cause it's a well-known course world wide tho it doesn't have placement on solely basis of studying the course only , we have to do alots of internships and make our CV strong in order to get placed .

Internships Opportunities

There are various internships offered from dee shaw , kpmg , McKinsey and all these fortune 500 commerce companies in ARSD. With average stipend being 15000 and lowest stipend being 5500 got to know all this info in orientation of placement cell pf our college

Placement Experience

I haven't got any placement yet as my college just started, I m a first year student but people from third semester start getting internship and many bug companies come here all the big 4 dee shaw and highest package offered was 24LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid around INR 18000 for one year in Delhi University for BCOM PROGRAM COURSE and it is pretty affordable compared to other universities and institutions . REGISTRATION FEES was 350 for CSAS Portal and I don't have much idea for other categories for GENERAL/Unreserved it is around 18000 annually

Campus Life

We have so called sports complex which serves as assembly hall sometimes. Which has provisions of badminton and table tennis and we have group which has volley ball court basketball court open gym is also there

Admission

I got ATMA RAM SANATAN DHARAMA COLLEGE in my first round of allotment of cuet results which was on 20th on my preference list, I applied for upgrade turns out it never got upgraded after that allotment so after third round it was freezed automatically i didn't have choice to choose this College

I have just got into college, haven't given any exams so I don't know about it . And faculty members teachers are nice but 1-2 teachers are like taking there class is literally a task of survival, sandeep sir only tell stories and reads headlines of the chapter he doesn't know how to teach and his flawed english is so bad

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

The course relevance I will rated as 9 out of 10 because I still find I need to explore more but overall all they have been very reachable.. its for students welfare and it increases the productivity.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

overall the college is very nice be it academic or co curricular front. canteen and cafeteria is very nice but the only thing they need to improve is placement cell.
